Several clients have reached out and asked if there is anything they could get us for our business. I told everyone I would let them know if I thought of anything.

Upon much consideration, I have created two lists. One for grooming supplies that I could use, such as tools and props for coming months. The second list has toys for the daycare dogs that come to play every day, and a few essentials that I could use for them this winter. Also, don’t forget we are always accepting old towels, dog clothes, and costumes.

We got a tent that was sent in by one client, see attached picture. It has a ball pit AND we have a second pit here that we’re trying to get filled with toys and balls! It’s going to get cold and how else to do we entertain 10 dogs all day, than THIS! 😂

Thank you, truly, for taking the time to read this. We aren’t asking for help, just giving ideas to those who have asked and are interested in getting the dogs Christmas presents. Their presents will be wrapped and place under the tree and when all the dogs return from winter break (mid January) we will take videos of them opening all their gifts.

We are extremely thankful for everyone who is a part of our Funky Family!

One thing about being a holistic groomer is knowing the importance of going at the dog’s pace, taking the time to figure out what they are most comfortable with, and what they can and cannot handle. Little Draper had to go to bath before pregroom. I dried her in the tub because I couldn’t keep her still enough to be on my table. Being deaf and blind she had no idea what was happening to her, moving around A LOT, pacing circles the entire bath and blow dry. By the time she was dry, she was exhausted. Even after a 30 minute break/nap she still didn’t feel up to the rest of the groom. I had her up in my arms before she even woke up. This old gal continued to lay down in a comfortable position, while I cut her nails from an awkward position. A little bit of problem solving, love, and patience goes a long way.

Truffles and Hector better watch out, Ducky is on a mission to become the top dog today!

Start your weekend with a smile. Happy Funny Friday! Ducky had an adorable reaction when she encountered the horses for the first time. She stood there for a long time, taking it all in.

Laynie crushed her first day of daycare! And, oh my goat, she even met some pretty cool kids. Not sure if she liked them, cause all she wanted to do was talk smack. Avery Kai Welker

Do you have a gentle giant dog that requires regular grooming, but find it difficult to bathe them at home due to their large size? Our specially designed grooming tub is the perfect solution! As demonstrated by Blue, our furry friend in the video, he comfortably fits in the tub and can enjoy a relaxing bath without feeling cramped or anxious.

Aspen had the greatest slow-mo this week. He just kept going and going. 😂 Happy slow-mo Sunday.
