Fingers crossed for a litter from our young, multiple specialty award winning, Group placing young star, Darius (Ch Laureate Zooropa Nonsuch Be the One ), and beautiful, goofy, fetch catch and tug beast, Lyra (Ch Laureate the Amber Spyglass), at the end of September. This pedigree is a bit different than the majority of what's out there right now, being free of the current "popular" sires, with emphasis on two famous sires/producers from the 1990s from old school bloodlines.

Pregnancy check on 8/23/24. This litter is cobred with Patty Anderson of Zooropa Borzoi. We expect size, substance, floating movement, heavy coats, gorgeous heads, full dentition, scissors bites, and sweet, goofy, enthusiastic temperaments. Darius is DM clear, eyes normal, echocardiogram clear, and awaiting thyroid test results. Lyra is DM clear, eyes normal, echocardiogram clear, and thyroid normal. All results on the OFA site. Sweet Old Vin, who will be 11 years old in August, had surgery yesterday afternoon to remove a growth from his left lower eyelid, and another one from his rear end. He's recovering well and so much more comfortable now. ❤️

2024 BCOA National: I took Rosie (8 years old) and Barbie (12 months old) with me and they both won their very large and competitive regular classes (Veteran 7-9 years and 12-18 months) with Rosie also winning her large veteran Sweepstakes class.

Young "Vodnik," Laureate Adrienne Nonsuch Still Water Runs Deep, in the ring at yesterday's Rio Grande KC all-breed show in Albuquerque, NM. Nik has been shown a total of four times and was WD/BW for a 5pt major at the Turquoise Trail Borzoi Club fall specialty, 3rd in Open at the BCOA National last month, RWD to a 5pt major at the Friday Rio Grande KC show, and here, also going RWD to a 5pt major. He just turned 2 in February so he's only going to get better. And he's pretty darned nice now, if we do say so ourselves!
