Molly and Cascar having a small school before she heads south.
Today was a day full of lessons for amateurs! Its a cold Sunday after a long week and here are some of our favorite quotes from the day:
I asked how Holly and Jessica how they felt after warming up to jump
Jessica: “I’m regretting my last beer at the colts game last night”
Holly: “My legs feel tired”
And Molly mid line- which you can hear in the above video
“how many is this again?!!”
Amateur rider, Jessica, and her mare become a better team each week!
This evening, they spent their lesson working on the use of a driving rein to help learn the feel of a more elastic arm. In return, it promoted a softer and lighter horse out of the turn and improved downward transitions off of the seat.
Great work ladies!
Reminiscing on Cyrus Adelheid Z’s lovely trips around the 2’ hunters at wec with Riley in the irons.
We are excited for Cyrus and Holly to make their amateur debut later this year!
Did you know KRC Stables’ program is geared towards amateurs? Our supportive environment, quiet arena free of lunge line lessons, individualized horse and rider relationships, and flexible schedule caters to all levels of amateur riders.
Jessica and Myla in great form for their lesson this evening!
Our adult amateurs are hard at work after a successful horse show
Katherine and Mackey spent the afternoon working on adjustability/straightness in the lines with one hand. A few light bulb moments: we don’t need our hands as much as we would like to. Our upper body has more effect and importance than we realize.

We are all so very proud of Sauce on The Side - she is ready for her own kiddo!
