The lambs have entered the weaning pen. Having already been consuming feed and enjoying daytime turnout with their mothers, they are now ready for this stage. We would like to provide them with an additional week to ensure their continued thriving and preparation for their new homes.

She is out of Grace and Jake. Grace had pregamacy toxemia and “Chrissy” was tiny when she was born on 02/07/2025. We pulled her and put her on the bottle in interest of both mom and baby.
She is doing great and eating well, so now she’s ready for someone else to hold her bottle for her!

We took on Miss Ivy (resident Finnsheep misfit/rescue) in October. She came from a friend who got her at a sale; so little to no info on her. We had reached out to the farm on her ear tag and found out her breed and age. They also told us she came from a very prolofic line of multiple lambs per pregnancy. We weren’t going to breed her as she was very underweight. Well she had 4 ewe lambs today. Unfortunately 2 did not make it through the birthing process. Her other 2 girls are hanging in there. They too are very tiny and petite.
Miss Ivy is recovering well and we are fighting for her girls!

We’ve had more lambs born!
Going to band tails today on all the ones old enough.

Well we had 2 more sets of lambs born today! It’s been crazy; 6 lambs in 24 hours.
Zinnia had full blooded babydoll twins; 1 ram 1 ewe.
Latte, our resident Katahdin hair sheep, had 1/2 babydoll twins; 1 ram 1 ewe.
Latte’s little girl slid under the manger when she was born and got left behind and cold. Because of this unfortunate situation Latte didn’t realize she was hers and isn’t too fond of her now.
Soooo….. everyone say hello to “Sprinkles”. Our son named her. We are still trying to graft her back to her momma but she might end up being a bottle baby.

Will post pictures tomorrow. We didn’t get a chance to get any today due to the craziness.

🎉We are excited to announce the birth of our first set of lambs! 🎉
Better photographs will be taken once the animals are relocated and settled. Azalea, a Babydoll cross, delivered twins, consisting of one boy and one girl. As our sire this year is Jake, a registered Babydoll, these lambs are 2/3 Babydoll.

Photos of Azalea's past 2/3 babydoll lambs will be attached in the comments section.

PRICES FOR 2025 LAMBS

Doing things differently this year.
Will be a first come first serve on lambs as last year we reached out to numerous people and never heard back anything (at least a “I’ll pass” would have been nice rather than us waiting 24 hours after contacting each person before moving to the next)

5 of the girls are bagged up now waiting on the other 5-6.
We plan to have them ultra-sounded once the family is over the flu for confirmation/count/timeline.

They stay until weaned. We only sell bottle babies if they absolutely have to be put on a bottle (for either the lambs or mothers best interest)
