Had our first set of lambs this morning out of the new ram Clyde (reg. Black babydoll) . Azalea (a babydoll cross or “trash baby” as I refer to her as lol) had twin black ram lambs.
Just putting out feelers for babydoll cross rams/wethers. I have people on the waitlist for lambs but that being registered lambs and these ARE NOT REGISTRABLE.

Welcome to the farm “Bonnie” and “Clyde”.
These guys are brother and sister (a little over a year) and come to us from TN. When we got there we found out that we competed against them in AR state fair last year! (They got grand and we got reserve). It’s a small world sometimes lol.

Photodump of “Rhododendron” aka “Rhoda” (half babydoll half cute babydoll looking mix) and “Pansy” (registered babydoll; full sibling to “Violet”).

They are both good looking gals! Didn’t plan on keeping lambs this year but fate had other plans I guess.

Never did I think I’d love a crossbred baby as much as I do “Rhoda” but she’s just a built lol thing. She will love out her days here with her momma. My “trash babies” (mix breeds lol) just hold a special place in my heart. But her momma “ Azalea” isn’t a smart sheep and gets lost and the others leave her behind so I’m hoping her baby will at least keep her company lol.

“Pansy” is also staying this year to fill the hoof prints left by our sweet “Violet”.

Petunia had twins yesterday! A white ewe lamb and a black ram lamb; gotta love a good 2 toned set of twins!
Introducing to you “Carnation” (the white ewe lamb) and “G.W McLintock” (the black ram lamb).

“Carnation” is spoken for as a 10yr olds show lamb❣️
“G.W” will be staying on the farm to pass down his daddy’s (Shawn Wayne’s) bloodline.

We have one more registered ewe ”Poppy” confirmed bred, due around/in May. Then we have a crossbred ewe “Sugar” (half babydoll half Scottish Black Face) that isn’t confirmed yet but we hope Shawn got the job done before his untimely passing.

Heaven gain another good one today❣️He was only 3yrs old and the sweets well mannered ram I’ve had or been around. And damn did he make good babies.
We thought he was on the up and up but he obtained an injury over the tendons in his back left leg. When I came to check on him this morning those tendons had torn. He fought a good long hard battle (more than most sheep are willing to).
As far as lambs go I might have a few available because if I keep my sheep I will keep a ewe and ram from Shawn but I can’t say for sure right now what I’ll do. Just watch the page and keep an eye on messenger for those on the waitlist.

Well God always have a plan and a way to make you feel better.
Today we welcomed “Pansy” into the world.
She is a full sister to Violet❣️
They would have been a year and 1 day apart.
We chose “Pansy” as it’s another name for Violet.
This little girl has big shoes to fill💜🥰

2 ewes down 3 to go!
Let’s pray the trend of girls keeps up

PS: Shawn Wayne is doing pretty good all things considering. Still a lot of swelling but he’s getting some s***k back to him❣️ Keep those prayers going we still need em❣️

We had an accident on the farm today that has left us with a broken heart and on your knees praying.
Shawn Wayne (our herd ram)and Violet (our show ewe lamb from last year) we’re attacked by dogs. Violet did not make it and Shawn Wayne is in recovery.
His injuries aren’t major; tore up his tail, back leg, front leg, and face. The worse of his is the head trauma from fighting them so hard to protect Violet.
While his injuries aren’t severe the shock is what we are trying to save him from. So say a prayer for our farm to help mend the broken hearts and keep Shawn Wayne going.

***To those interested in lambs depending on the outcome the number of lambs I have available might decrease. I was not planning on keeping any lambs this year but now I will have to have one ewe lamb in Violets honor and a ram lamb if Shawn Wayne doesn’t pull through. I will keep those on the waitlist posted***

Not the best of pictures but LAMBING SEASON HAS BEGAN!
“Azalea” (babydoll cross) is a first time momma bred to “Shawn Wayne”.
She had this big baby girl, ”Rhododendron” aka “Rhoda”! She weighed in at 8lbs 12oz.
She is 3/4 babydoll and 1/4 adorable mystery!

I will start reaching out to those on the waitlist when more lambs have hit the ground.

Late posting these and don’t have all the pictures yet but our girls did a phenomenal job! Grand Champion babydoll and Champion Showman! Our 4H team told us we missed the deadline for state fair but the judge told us we had 4 days left and she thinks we could do great so Arkansas State fair here we come!

2yr Old Proven Registered Babydoll Ram. Had one heck of a Ram lamb (also registered and pictures below) this year! Due to my washer and dryer going out (and a 4 month old needing laundry done daily lol) they are in search of a new zip code. Located in Central AR. Asking $400 for each OBO

All three of this years ram lambs and Wyatt Earp (2yr old this year) are up fro sale. Don’t need anymore rams and decided I like running a black ram vs white.
All are off white and registered/registrable.
Asking $350 as intact and $300 as wethers.
All up to date on vaccines and dewormer.

Just had twins born (both black and registered)! Momma isn’t interested in the little boy at the moment so might have a bottle baby on our hands. So if anyone might potentially be interested let me know. With him potentially being on the bottle it would be in best interest he be castrated.
Hopefully I’m wrong and once we get him perked up he will go for momma on his own. I just don’t have the ability to take on another bottle baby right now due to just haveing my own baby 4 days ago. Wonderful timing around here!

The updated flock!
Saw Wyatt Earp breeding Poppy today (first time breeding him and this is a new pairing). Shawn Wayne is turned out with and showing lots of interest in Zinnia (new breeding pair) and Petunia (repeat breeding). Maple and Azalea won’t breed till next year as they only 8 months old. Johnny Cash is still looking for his forever home!
Shawn Wayne is not pictured cause I constantly forget lol.

Well a little disappointed this year...
Ultrasounded Poppy Wednesday and she isn’t pregnant. As for Petunshe only had one (this morning) and it’s a a black ram lamb.
I’m glad to have a healthy lamb and momma though.

I promise I haven’t forgotten about you guys. The girls were. Confirmed 30 days back in November but only Petunia is bagging up and really growing. I guess dates got way off for her. As far as Poppy goes I’m not sure if she will be having lambs this year as she is not bagged or anything. The girls will be getting ultrasounds Wednesday. I do apologize for the wait.

Girl are up by the house in the lambing pen and enjoying the new lambing jug. I can’t wait to have babies on the ground!
