Rubble checking in! He has had a fabulous first week. After some initial warm-up time he has become quite confident and friendly. He happily prances around the house and checks in on what everyone is doing. He seems to be fully potty trained, he sleeps in the crate throughout the night and does great on the leash (and off). He seems to just want to be around his person, whatever they’re doing. Currently, this seems to be my 12 year old daughter. He is vocal when someone walks in the house, and has met cats, chickens and ducks, as well as our two dogs without issue. He’s got a great easy going temperament.

This adorable pup is ready to steal your heart! Zuma's mom was a 18lb scruffy terrier, and he seems to be mixed with a blue heeler. At just 4-5 months old, this little guy is already potty trained and working hard on his crate training skills.

Meet Rocky! This 4-month-old terrier-heeler mix is as sweet as he is stunning. With his gorgeous coat and playful energy, Rocky’s sure to turn heads. He’s still a bit shy, but with a little patience and a lot of treats, his confidence is growing every day!

Rocky’s a pro at cuddling, often hopping right up on the couch to snuggle. He’s doing great with house training but still needs his crate when left alone – he’s just a puppy, after all, and sometimes shoes look a little too much like toys!

Rocky would thrive in a home with another dog to keep him company, and he has a soft spot for teens, though he'd likely be just as excited around younger kids. Are you a caring dog lover in PA who’d like to make a difference this holiday season? We’re looking for kind-hearted people to foster one of our many rescue dogs! Whether it’s for a few days, a few weeks, or even longer, giving a foster family a little break makes all the difference for these sweet pups.

We even have a relationship with Houndstown Reading for daycare options, so fostering can fit with your schedule! Most foster parents work full time so don't let that stand in the way of fostering 😊

🌟Give a dog a warm, loving home.
🌟Help them learn basic manners (or teach fun tricks like sit, paw, and lay down if you'd like).
🌟Supplies are provided if needed!

💖 Jacks is keeping up with the times and made a TikTok! 💖

This handsome guy is a perfect gentleman on walks and in the car. He’s super curious and loves to take in all the scents along the way. While he’d benefit from a harness, he’s a polite walker and doesn’t pull much. He’s also great at letting you know when he needs to go out—no accidents in the house!

Jacks LOVES toys (though they don’t last long in his paws!) and is a polite eater, taking treats with care. He’s crate-trained but is equally happy to snuggle up on the couch for a nap. Full of energy and fun, he’s a great companion for older, dog-savvy kids.

Jacks can be a bit selective with other dogs, so a meet-and-greet is recommended if you have another pup.

Training: Almost fully potty trained with occasional accidents and doing well with crate training—he and his foster sibling go into their crates on command with no issues!

Kid-Friendly: Wonderful with children and loves playtime with the family dog.

Cat-Friendly: Still learning about cats; curious and playful, sometimes enjoys a little chase.

Loves: Toys, chew bones, and learning commands—already getting the hang of "sit"! He adores squeaky toys and is especially fond of bones for chewing.

Personality: Maverick can be a little timid at first, but he warms up quickly and is full of love once he knows you. He would absolutely love a sibling in his forever home to play and learn from.
