Little Miss Cider! Cider is a three month old very independent female German Shepherd, who gets along great with people and other dogs. She knows Sit, Down, is crate trained and working on house training. She loves to play with other dogs and she loves to play in the water. Miss Bailey! At just 1.5 years old and 60 pounds, she's a sweet, water-loving pup looking for a foster or forever home. Bailey loves people and other dogs, and she would thrive in a home with a furry friend. Bailey suffers from some separation anxiety and would prefer a family where someone is typically home or with another dog who can keep her company.

A huge thank you to all our incredible volunteers and alumni families for joining us at the November Pack Walk in Historic Folsom! 🐾 It was the perfect day for training, with plenty of crowds and challenges to help our dogs build confidence and resilience. My name is Flynn, a happy boy that always wears a grin because I love people! I’m 1 and half years old, 70 pounds, playful, loving and very handsome in my red sable coat. Belly rubs are the bomb! Oh, and I love chewing my buffalo horn. Though I need some continued obedience training and boundaries I’m very treat motivated and working well both on my manners and loose leash walking. I know sit, down, place, and wait, so I won’t dash out the door unexpectedly. I’m current on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped and heartworm negative. I can’t wait to meet you!

Meet Autumn! She’s a 1 1/2-year-old, 50-pound female ready to start a new chapter in life. Autumn began her journey as a stray and was pulled from the shelter just in time. Now, she’s learning to enjoy the good things, like spending time with people, going for walks, and splashing in the water.

Autumn is an active, high-energy girl who loves to run, play with toys like wubbas, and, of course, have fun in the water. While she can get excited when she sees other dogs, she’s working on staying calm and neutral—progress takes time! Despite her lack of previous training or boundaries, Autumn is eager to learn. She already knows commands like Sit, Down, and Place, walks well on a loose leash, and is crate trained.

Leo is incredibly sweet and well-behaved. He is 9 years old and 80 pounds. He is great with other dogs and cats and currently lives with both.
We would greatly appreciate any help to find Leo a permanent, loving home.

Meet Creed, a 5-6 year old, 85-pound confident and active canine who's been with the rescue since 2022. This sweet boy was rescued from the Stockton Shelter and spent a few months recovering from heartworm treatment. Creed is incredibly grateful to both the shelter and rescue for giving him a second chance, and now he's loving life to the fullest!

He has been working with a trainer to learn proper manners and how to interact appropriately with other dogs. While he’s making great progress, Creed can still be a bit pushy when meeting new dogs, so a young, female canine companion would be ideal for him. He’s even participated in a few pack walks and did an amazing job!

Creed is looking for an experienced dog handler with an active household that understands boundaries and training. With his working line traits, loyalty, and eagerness to please, he’s definitely worth considering. Creed would do best in a home with older children, 16 and up. If you’re searching for a dog who’s ready for an adventure and eager to bond, Creed could be the perfect fit!

Meet Drake! He’s a one-year-old, slender 56-pound boy with a gentle and sweet disposition. Drake was removed from his previous home due to neglect and spent some time in a shelter. Unfortunately, the noisy and chaotic environment made it difficult for him to gain weight. Now that he’s in rescue care, Drake is eating well, gaining weight, and finally decompressing.

Drake naturally gravitates toward people and has shown great social skills, even participating in playgroups with other dogs at the shelter. He loves to run and play in the yard and shows potential to be an excellent agility dog. Currently, he’s settling in and starting to learn basic obedience skills. Stay tuned for more updates!

Hi! My name is Carter and I'm a 11 month old, sweet, loveable boy who was pulled from the shelter in the nick of time. I love people and other dogs. I am crate and house trained. I can walk nicely on a loose leash. For now I am still settling in at my foster home and I am totally looking forward to learning some new skills. I would love an active family with another dog to play with. I would probaly be ok with a cat with appropriate introductions. More to come on me once I settle in.
