My 2 boys, Bronco and Henry. Little Henry thinks he's ready to take on bronco for breeding duties. He's lucky there is a fence between them.
A sunny frosty morning and the reindeer are getting ready to go for a little walk. Henry has the lead on and is sloooowly getting used to walking with it.
Bronco near the end of the rut
Finally, Bronco is allowing the girls to get near the feed trough.
A long walk down the driveway of the reindeer farm. Another awesome day. Feel free to hum along with your favorite John Denver song.
Enjoying a fall nice day. The second from the right is baby Henry. He's growing fast!
Henry is not a fan of the lead...yet
Bronco getting it done. Tis the season. Hopefully in 7.5 months we will see results.
Though reindeer are normally docile herd animals that like to be near other reindeer, they can be trained/socialized to be comfortable with people as well. Here Henry is being trained to eat from people's hands in preparation for the holiday season. Brida, behind me, is already pretty good at it.
Little Henry is growing up fast but he still has a long way to go before challenging Bronco for breeding rights.
