This morning at around 6 AM, we took Crank and his siblings outside for their potty break, and in just a few minutes of stepping back inside to grab something, Crank went missing. We're devastated and are doing everything we can to find him. We're not sure if he found a way out on his own or if he was taken. If anyone in the area has seen a puppy matching his description or has any information, please reach out to us immediately! We just want him returned, no questions asked. REWARD FOR RETURN.

We are thrilled to share the heartwarming news that Teddy has found his forever home! After spending some time in our care, even being returned once due to no fault of his own, this lovable bundle of joy is finally in a place where he will be showered with love and care. His new family instantly fell in love with his playful spirit and gentle demeanor, and we know he will bring endless joy and laughter to their lives. We want to thank everyone who helped along the way, from the people who share our posts, to the generous donors who helped us when he needed surgery, and to Teddy's new family who gave him this chance. Teddy’s journey is a perfect example of why we do what we do and we can't wait to hear all about his new adventures!

"Bo also answers to Bobo was abandoned at a house and a friend ended up keeping him. She was needing to rehome him and I already had a heeler myself so I decided to try it and mine is constantly fighting with him. He is super sweet and playful. Loves his walks and swimming in the pond and adores the kids! He is kennel trained. I kennel him at night time inside and he is in an outdoor kennel during the day. He can be timid at first but he warms up after awhile. I hate to rehome him to just anyone as he does act timid and I feel like he has been abused just by the way he acts sometimes like he is always on guard. He doesn’t do anything like nipping he just cowards down and runs away. That has gotten better with me working with him. If I didn’t have my heeler I’d keep him for sure but it’s been a month and my heeler is so territorial and jumps on him. I feel like he would be better off with someone experienced with the breed or that has more time to work with him."

$6 Sunday!

As you know, we have a very hefty bill coming up for spay and neuters! Proceeds from this $6 Sunday will go to helping us with Boomers neuter and transport to his adopter! Boomer has trouble keeping weight on, so is required to go through a regular vet to receive bloodwork prior to surgery. It is very likely just due to him being a VERY active intact dog. Going through our regular vet VS APL comes with a higher price have unfortunately. We are looking at $300 for surgery/bloodwork, $50 for his health certificate for transport, and $200 for his transport fee. He is scheduled for transport on 9/20!

We are encouraging all of our followers to send just $6 each for $6 Sunday to help fundraise for all our pups. We are SO full, and go through SO many supplies. We have over 1k followers on this page alone. If everyone sent $6, we would raise $6,000. Imagine all we could do with that amount!!

Meet Amelia, a little hound mix, guessed to be around 10wks old! Named after the iconic aviator Amelia Earhart, this little sweetheart was found at Tubreaux Aviation, hiding under some concrete. Shes been with us a very short time, and is a bit scared, but has already begun to open up and be a normal, happy little puppy! With her playful spirit and curious nature, she embodies the fearless energy of her namesake. As she soars into our hearts, we’re excited to help her find a loving forever home where she can continue to explore and spread joy. With the 25 abandoned 4-6 week old pups we have taken in with in a matter of 2 days the 7 puppy crates are not able to house all of them , in 6-7weeks the puppy building will be here to house them in climate controlled area, but right now we need to get these other babies off the floors and into proper kennels we choose these crates because they have grating where they can potty and it falls through on the tray making it cleaner and safer for them while they are getting antibodies frm vaccines . These are the cheapest ones we have found so far .

Update on building progress :

*Concrete slap will be poured next week for the building, as well as plumbing.
*The building a 12x15 metal insulated building we have ordered and will be put up in 6/7weeks. Thanks to every one who has donated for one of the 5 shelters we are needing to house the dogs in our care . We have gotten enough to pour 2 slabs for 2 of the 12x15 buildings once money is raised for the other 12x15 building that one will be placed on its slab next to this building . Electrical will need to be done as well to move the pups into the building . Again thanks to all of you HEROES who have helped and continue to help us with our mission for these unwanted, abandoned pets, they deserve the best and with you guys and the baby steps we are all giving them its the best we can all do for now and that's better than what they have had before . LATEST UPDATE: Jack is safe and here’s the plan for him: He has an adopter 🎉YAY!! 🎉 and he will go to a foster Friday to get him out of the shelter. We have another foster offer as well and they will co-foster him if needed. We will schedule his neuter and start his hw treatment. He will be transported to his new adopter when he is ready. We are so grateful for the people who stepped up to help him. He has a chance to live the best life possible! Thank you all so much for sharing and tagging him.

UPDATE: As far as we know Jack is still with us. We’ve asked for an update on his status from the Shelter. As soon as we know something we will update it here. For now, Jack still needs an adopter, foster or rescue! Thank you to everyone who shared his post and/or is helping us find a safe place for this boy to land!

This will likely be the last post for Jack 😔

He must be out of the shelter by noon tomorrow or he will be euthanized.

Jack has been failed over and over again but we wanted to try for him one last time.

He won’t be an easy dog and may never be.
He is feral
He has heartworms
He’s been roaming for months with no socialization

He needs someone experienced to take him on. If no one steps up, he will be humanely euthanized tomorrow.

I feel compelled to address some recent posts about me regarding a screenshotted post from my personal account. They are based on incomplete information and have painted a misleading picture of my character and intentions. I need to clarify the facts and provide context surrounding the situation, as we do not have anything to hide.
We very much support and agree with spay/neutering your pets. We have multiple intact dogs in our home, and these pups are waiting patiently for their upcoming spay and neuter appointments, which are essential for their health and help reduce the overall pet population. We believe in responsible pet ownership and are dedicated to ensuring every dog is fixed before they find their forever homes. While they may be intact for now, we are actively working towards their and the community's well-being. Our intact personal dogs were also brought up, and we stated that we do not alter our PERSONAL dogs until a certain age, but we have never had a litter and can responsibly house intact dogs without any "oops." Our vets recommend keeping dogs intact until their growth plates close for our dogs and their specific needs, as it can offer several health benefits, primarily related to physical and behavioral development. This being said, we strongly believe in altering your pets. The general public is not always as responsible with their intact dogs, so any dog through us is altered prior.

It's come to our attention that some have questioned our status as a legitimate rescue organization and 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We want to clarify that we have obtained our Employer Identification Number (EIN) and are actively working toward achieving full 501(c)(3) certification. We understand the importance of transparency and accountability in the rescue community and take these allegations seriously. Our commitment to our mission of aiding animals in need remains unwavering, and we appreciate the support of our community as we navigate this process. Thank you for standing by us as we continue to grow and improve.

As a passionate advocate for animal welfare, it’s disheartening to witness the ongoing contention and disputes among local dog rescues that should ideally be united in their mission to save and rehabilitate animals in need. Instead of collaborating to create a more robust network for rescue, we often see infighting that detracts from the critical work at hand and sends a discouraging message to our community and potential adopters. We must remember our common goal: giving dogs the second chance they deserve. By fostering a spirit of cooperation, we can enhance our effectiveness and inspire others to join our cause, ultimately benefiting the animals we are all deeply passionate about.
