Bring the whole family (fur-kids encouraged!) for a day filled with fun: Bounce House, Treats, Crafts, Games, and a Trail Scavenger Hunt! Don't miss our Costume & Trunk Decorating Contests (for Kids & Dogs)!

🐾 Visit AWA's Behavior Team with your pups for some Scent Works Games, and kids can enjoy crafts and an obstacle course with AWA's Education Team. Plus, check out many cool trunks and vendors! Our Adoption Center will be OPEN! 🏠❤️

Valleybrook Country Club holds a Yappy Hour once a month. Yappy Hour is an outdoor happy hour where we invite and encourage you to bring your dogs!

Monday August 26th from 6-9:00pm. We have live music, food and drink specials, vendors and Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center with adoptable dogs and sometime cats too!

Rose still has her nose out for a family… 🌹

Rose is a sweet senior who finds herself back in the shelter after many years in a loving home. Sadly, her beloved owner fell ill and could no longer care for her. She's almost 12 years old, housebroken, and already trained. She loves a comfy bed and enjoys short walks. Rose prefers to be your only dog, and she would prefer a home without too many steps to go up & down. Other than that, she isn't asking for much. Maybe a fenced yard so she can bask in the sun. But mostly, she'd love a forever family that she can live out her golden years with.
Will you open your heart and home to this senior dog? She still has so much love to give.
