When it comes to horses, not everyone who has one treats them with kindness. And this is especially true in the behind-the-scenes world of horse soring. The Annual Tennessee Walking Horse Celebration has faced scrutiny

R.I.P. Clant Seay AKA Billy Go Boy
Clant Seay AKA Billy Go Boy was an amazing advocate for Big Lick horses, raising awareness with his bold and fearless personality. The last years of his life were spent being a voice for horses trapped within the barbaric torture of being a Big Lick Horse. Sadly the world lost this warrior and hero for horses. After he was physically attacked at a Big Lick show where he was trying to expose the abuse going on there, his health declined rapidly and he lost his life.
Horse Plus Humane Society worked alongside Clant for years trying to expose the abuse happening to these horses this page has been left to Horse Plus Humane Society. A lot of thought went into what to call this page since Billy Go Boy was Clant's writer's name.
This page has now been renamed Citizens Against Big Lick and is a division of Horse Plus Humane Society creator of the Full Circle of Life Horse Shelter Network.

Citizens Against Big Lick will continue the fight against the abuse and will continue to raise awareness about what is happening to these innocent horses.

Rest In Peace Clant, we've got it from here!

We lost an Angel this past weekend when the Lord called "Caden" home to Heaven. He tragically lost his life in a farm accident. I spoke with "Caden" when he came with his sister Shelby and her much loved friend, Caleb, to our advocacy events on August 26, 2021. During that time, "Caden" inspired and touched me with his thoughtful words to work hard for the time I have left here on this earth to see the end of the "Big Lick" Animal Cruelty to Tennessee Walking Horses come to fruition. Heartfelt condolences to Caden's family, and all who loved him. We'll dearly miss him! Godspeed "Little Man".
