Banana cookies...

Using different techniques and playing around with my ingredients definitely taught me a lot! They're all soft and chewy... they just puffed up way more than I expected!!

I love that I can share my journey with you. I'm, by no means, a professional, so all of my goodies are handmade and made up.

Today was Banana and Oat biscuits... they tasted good but turned out a but too hard. But, the picky puppy dog ate his, so it's a good one... just have to adjust to baking my style. 😉

They don't *look* yummy by any stretch of the imagination, so these will be for the ppd... ❤️🐾

🍪 You're probably wondering what I'm baking in the oven on my cover pic... these were PB cookies I was baking for my pup... first attempt at "cookies" and they turned out pretty good... Yes, I actually tasted them to make sure they had a mellow PB flavor (to make sure I didn't use too much) and tasted for the flavors of the, very few, other ingredients I use to make them for my pup.

😁 What's nice is that they're soft, like a cookie, so if your pup has teeth issues, or can't eat crunchy food/treats, these would be perfect!*

❗️*Note - "cookies" have to be refrigerated

Welcome!!!

The Picky Puppy Dog is a place to purchase, or even sample, homemade dog treats.

We're "picky" for two reasons...

1) My pup is *very* picky about his treats, so I started to make my own, based on what he liked. I've expanded his pallette now, so I'm excited about all the different flavors we'll have! We will also be able to make custom flavors (as long as they're dog friendly)

2) I try every biscuit and cookie I bake for him to ensure that it actually tastes like the flavor it should - while using ONLY dog-friendly ingredients!! So they better be good!

Our kickoff is planned for April, but I'm ready to give out samples now!! Just let me know!
