Sometimes the horse shows us they're so willing that we get excited. I decided to hop on and let Coal get used to the feel of a rider and a carrying the bit. I did skip a bunch of prep work and don't normally pony on a first ride but why not? We always revisit ground work and we always have the ability to continue our prep work.
