This is Wilber’s story. Ripped from his mother and thrown in a dumpster at 3 days old. I pray they catch who did this 😭

Puppy Update: Due to their age and needs they went to Best Friends in Bentonville. This group has the resources and staff to care for such young babies. To the person who dumped 3 puppies (not even a week old) in a feed sack into the dumpster at the Dollar General Market on JR Beaver, we have you on video. I'm sure you were aware of the freeze warning last night when you opted to throw these babies out like trash. Thanks to the hero at the Dollar General Market who heard the puppies crying, they are now safe, warm and will be going to a foster family soon. We are asking our community to help us out, if you have any information regarding this person/people please reach out to our department 479-736-8400.

The Holiday Season is approaching, and I have a couple spots for new clients!
Wilber and Company is a small pet care company that caters to the Siloam Springs and Gentry (within city limits) area! It is run by me, Rachel, who is also the only employee lol I have worked with dogs and cats over the last 13 years working in animal rescue! I bring a wealth of knowledge, as well as love and passion, to my business to provide top notch, quality care you can trust and depend on!

House Sitting- My house-sitting rates are priced two ways depending on pet needs. Daytime house sitting is $50 per day +$5 for each additional pet with care needs. That means I drop-in multiple times throughout the day to care for your pet, spend time with your pet, exercise your pet, give medication as needed, etc. My overnight house-sitting rate is $65 per day +$5 for each additional pet with care needs. That means I stay at your house overnight with your pet and try to spend as much time with them through the day. I also manage the household: taking out trash on trash day, bringing in mail or packages, tending to gardens or pools, etc.

Drop-in Visits- $15 per visit, +$5 for each additional pet. These are great if you work long hours or have a short overnight vacation to go on! I drop in within a designated time frame to provide care to your pet!

Dog Walks- $15 per 30 min walk, +$5 for each additional dog. I also provide a Leash Training Boot Camp- $100 for 1 week. I will come and walk your dog as much as it requires to get them to a place where you can walk them yourself, comfortably and safely.

Basic Obedience Dog Training- $20 30 min. session. $35 1 hr. session.

There will be an additional fee for electronic payments through Venmo, Cashapp, and PayPal.

We are gearing up for our pool pawty!!!! so far we have four raffle items. 1) a basket full of pig ears, antlers, lots of treats and fun things for the pooch. 2) a Martha Stewart/Snoop Dog wine basket with chocolates. 3) A framed painted dog. 4) gift card bouquet and hopefully more to come. Photo's next week. Our Games are human/dog look a like, best commands, best costume, retrieve and our fastest runner. All will receive metals and gift. New this year are pup cups, bubbles galore and street taco's.

Our prices are geared towards multi pet homes. Not only is our "per pet" rate the most affordable you will find but your pets will be able to stay in the comfort of their own homes!

Pet/House sitting (dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents and equine)- $50 base rate, +$5 for each additional animal for 24 hour period, .
Drop-in pet visits- $15 base rate, +$5 for each additional animal
Dog walking- $15, base rate, +$5 for each additional animal
Boarding- $50 per 24 hour period (I only board 1 small/medium sized dog at a time. Must be crate trained)

If you are trying to get your dogs manners under control before all your guests arrive we also offer basic dog training!

Dog training-$15 for 30 min sessions, $35 for hour long sessions.

Unleash your passion for companion animals and join our Volunteer Spay Squad! 🐾

📣 We’re excited to announce that we are in the process of implementing a formal Volunteer Program to include more members of our community, and we’re inviting you to join! 🤝

🌟WHO WE NEED: Empathetic, collaborative individuals (18 years or older) with a strong interest in advancing companion animal and community well-being.
🌟 WHAT YOU WOULD DO: Wrap and sterilize surgery packs and instruments in the morning, and assist with the essential task of doing laundry for the hundreds of community pets we serve each week. In the afternoon, we’d appreciate help with patient recovery. These seemingly small tasks play a crucial role in ensuring our clinic runs smoothly!

This opportunity is perfect for anyone interested in learning more about the medical or veterinary field, a current student or retiree, or anyone with prior experience in these areas.

‼️ Currently, we have an urgent need for assistance on *Tuesdays* during the following time frames:
✅ 9 AM - 1 PM (Surgery prep)
✅ 10 AM - 2 PM (Recovery)

Don’t have any experience in these areas? Don’t worry — Our diverse and dedicated group of staff and volunteers are ready to immerse you in clinic operations and help get you involved in meaningful work.

We lost nine dog walkers this week, so we are looking to fill some spots!! We need 1 PM Walkers, halting all later walks due to hot weather for now. Cassie can officially add frequenter of Farmers Markets and Brunch to her adoption resume!

Cassie is at the Siloam Springs Animal Shelter and ready for her forever home! She is about a year and half old, good with dogs, cats and kids! She walks well on a leash and loads in a car wonderfully.
