Coming up on a year old already! Butters is already taller than her mama, acting like a crazy teenager, more cuddly by the day, is amazing on leash walks,starting to grab a toy or shoe instead of arms and hands. She’s such a sweet face.

I want to do a little info, learning post. I see so many people confused about coat coloring,but it really is simple, and AKC has wonderful explanations on the site if there are more questions.
English Mastiffs coat colors.

Fawn / Apricot black mask
Brindle fawn or/ Brindle Apricot black mask
Reverse Brindle Fawn /Apricot Black mask.

Fawn is a blonde coloring
Apricot is orange/red coloring
Brindle is a fawn or apricot background with black striping. Can be heavily brindled or lightly brindled.
Reverse Brindle is black main coat with fawn or apricot stripes on top, dog is very very dark.
Fluffy coats even though seem fun are not desirable and should not be bred.
Apricot coloring is based off head and ear coloring, as the body can have different variants of color.
All Mastiffs of high quality and breeding should have full black masks, brindles can have a small amount of white on the chest.

Just for example… Miss Mabelle is a Fawn/black mask
Miss Butters is a reverse apricot brindle/black mask

This made my night, probably my whole month! When her family came to make their pick their kids were scared to death of dogs. Clearly they are not scared anymore. Miss Lucy fixed that ❤️ Giant dogs, mean big lovin!! I can’t express how grateful I am to everyone who trusted us and took home their new best friend. We think of our puppies often and it helps knowing they are so well loved and cared for. Thank You, thank you! We strive to provide the best temperament for families in all situations. I know every single puppy went to their perfect place! Live big Miss Lucy and family!!
