Dakota Plains Wegies - NFC's is a responsible breeder of the Norwegian Forest Cat. This breed is strongly built and larger than an average domestic breed cat. The breed has a long, sturdy body, long legs and a bushy tail. The coat consists of a long, glossy, thick and water-repellent top layer and a woolly undercoat and is thickest at the legs, chest and head. This is a fairly low-maintenance bree

d, requiring minimal grooming. The Wegie is an interactive, playful, loving member of any responsible household. Variety is the spice of life-and the Norwegian Forest Cat comes in a rainbow of colors for you to choose from. We went with with the NFC because for one it's gorgeous and the most important thing is they are really kind natured big kitties...descendents of Vikings!

Born March 27th 2025 Dakota Plains presents “Pirates of the Carribean”It is also very bittersweet for this is our final litter. We have been discussing this topic for a very long time(undecided as to if or when). We have given it much thought and we hope you continue to follow and keep in touch with your babies from previous litters!! Without further adieu…Laguna Loire Pam Swynford made her journey this morning. She went to be in the star camp with all her ancestors before her. The cattery is very very sad place today and will be for a very long time. She was the foundation of this whole outfit. We put so much time and effort to get this little kitty here. She traveled thousands of miles to see us. Pam came to us all the way from Barcelona, Spain. She is import fancy girl and boy did she act like it! Pam you gave me and my family many years of love, affection and a part of our family that can never be replaced. All heartbroken is an understatement. We will miss you my sweet girl. I’m shaken. You gave us memories that will continue to be told daily for years to come. Adios Bonita!
