Love to see training pay off! So nice to bring them and relax while they roam around and explore. Off leash training is the goal for many but it doesn't happen without much more going into your training first.
Tons of recall training, lots of ON LEASH WORK, confidence building and regular work like sit, down, and door dashing.
This is possible. It's fun and relaxing to be able to do but you have to work for it.

Playday Thursday! The weather is getting womderful!

Gus is at his half way point. This means Hardee training starts... indoor training. He has to now begin to understand that everything he has learned is also expected inside.
Major boundaries inside to learn.
Thresholds.
Furniture is not his (they don't want him on it anymore after having a baby)
Running through the house is no more (inside is not the time to run and play)
OUT command that I teach is for a multitude of things (out of a space for any reason)

He is definitely pouting all over again. Freedoms are taken yes, but a calmer, in control dog for this family is so important for this growing family.

These goofballs have not stopped today! They run around, get tired and jump into the pool, rest a minute and start running again! 😄 I love playdays!

New program alert!

***Open to people who have trained with me before only.

4 week refresher course with the owners included. This will be you and the dog, one on one refresher training in a private session.

You will go home with homework after each lesson.

The last lesson we will head to a public area and train with distractions.

$200 total for the course.

I'm putting together some hiking dates for Early Saturday mornings. I'm thinking every other Saturday. $20 per hike. We will train as we hike and go. I'm hoping this can be a group adventure!
