Good morning everyone, we are keeping a close eye on the weather! We will be closed Wednesday 9/10/2024. Depending on the weather Thursday and if we have power will determine if we will be open or not, but we will definitely make a post to let everyone know. Friday we will resume normal business hours! Alright Slidell, it's time for a heart-to-heart. I am sad to say I have had to diagnose far too many heartworm-positive dogs recently, ranging from young to old. Heartworms are spread by mosquitos, which are present year-round in Louisiana, so every dog needs to be on prevention all year. Treatment for heartworms is costly (potentially up to $1700) and if left untreated will eventually be deadly. The cheapest prevention is about $13 a month if negative which is not very much to keep your best friend safe. Until July 31st we will waive the $50 exam fee for any wishing to get only a heartworm test and prevention. Please get your dogs on prevention, their lives are at stake. -Dr. Pellegrin

Hey guys so since we are out of electricity and have well water we also have no water. As soon as it comes up we will call and reschedule everything for today but until then hang tight at home. We are here taking care of borders and surgeries from yesterday but otherwise we are closed

We forgot to post a picture of our window art this month! Skylr came and painted our cute Easter window painting! 🐰🩷With the weather starting to warm up our annoying little pest we like to call fleas, ticks and heartworms are going to be in full effect! 🦟 So don’t forget to stop by and pick up your fur babies prevention! We can’t stress enough how important it is for them to be protected! ♥️ Summer is also on its way so if anyone needs boarding for vacations we will gladly watch those babies just give us a call and we can set you up! 🌸🐾🌞
