🐶🐾 Icarus had a truly delightful day out! Colleen and her husband, who are incredibly dedicated volunteers, took Icarus on this special outing. This gentle-hearted ❤️ 2-year and 7-month-old mix breed has been patiently waiting at the shelter since December 20, 2023—1️⃣9️⃣4️⃣ days, hoping for a loving home.
Colleen shared how wonderfully Icarus rides in the car. Initially, she worried he might be a bit wild, but instead, he lay down calmly in the backseat, showcasing his sweet nature. He walks beautifully on a leash and relished the love and affection he received, revealing a side of him that's often hidden as he plays with other dogs in the shelter’s playgroup.
Icarus absolutely adores the kiddy pool at the shelter and doesn’t mind being hosed down after getting muddy—he simply loves water! While he’s treat-motivated, he’s a bit selective about his snacks, with Pup-peroni being his favorite. Plus, he knows the "sit" command!
However, Icarus truly needs a way out of the shelter. The environment is beginning to weigh on his spirit, and he’s been circling a lot in his kennel. He deserves so much more than this—a loving family and the attention he yearns for.

Artimis, a lovely Domestic Medium Hair, is 2 years and 10 months old and has been with us since November 18, 2023. He came to the shelter after the passing of his owner, and he, too, desires a caring family.

♥️🐾🐶Adonis and Taxa Jr. are two of the most loving and well-mannered dogs at the shelter, yet they are still waiting for their forever homes.
Adonis, just 10 months old, has been with us since January 18, 2024—an incredible 242 days. Despite the long wait, he’s always cheerful, loves splashing in the water, and walks beautifully on a leash. His joy is contagious, and he's eager to bring that happiness into a family’s life.
Taxa Jr., a gentle 4-year-old, has been waiting patiently since June 6, 2024—105 days and counting. His calm nature shines through in everything he does. He knows how to sit and come when called, shares his toys with ease, and has a heart full of love to give.
Both Adonis and Taxa Jr. were once strays, forced to fend for themselves on the streets, but they’ve never lost their love for people. They play well with others and are simply waiting for someone to give them the chance they deserve.
