I've always loved animals, especially dogs. My husband and I adopted Bugsy in 2005 from the Hawaiian Humane Society. We've added to the pack since then. So WHY BANANAS? Bugsy LOVED bananas... he'd even eat the peel. True story. We added “Bananas” to his name because of his love for bananas. Throughout the years, he brought us so much joy and laughter. Bugsy was an awesome dog. I use the past tense

because unfortunately Bugsy Bananas is no longer with us. He succumbed to old age and health issues in July 2016. But as they say, you can't keep a good dog down. He lives on through this business. I decided to start this business in memory of Bugsy... the added bonus is that I love to create things, especially for my dogs. I hope these creations bring you as much happiness as they do me. Happy 1st Gotcha Day, Lopaka! One year ago, we adopted this squishmallow from CACC. He’s come such a long way from the skin and bones, hot mess that he once was. From the moment we met him, we knew he was the one. He and Kea Kilauea have bonded so well and are truly two peas in a pod. I know in my heart that Ruxpin’s spirit lead us to him. We needed this goofy, lovable baby in our lives. He’s truly helped us to heal from the loss of Ruxpin. Everyday since bringing him into our Ohana has been an adventure. I’m so grateful that he chose me to be his mama. And I’m sure, hubby feels the same.

From skin and bones and heartworm positive to a hearty 88lbs and heartworm negative (hooray!). This boy is living the good life! I thank God for blessing us with the honor to care and love on one of his precious creations. Lopaka, I promise you that I’ll treasure you until my last breath. Happy Gotcha Day, baby boy. We love you! 💙🙏🏼

As an adult, they still are, but now I consider them more as my fur children. My husband and I adopted Bugsy from the Hawaiian Humane Society and he was our first fur child.
