I was notified yesterday that the cost of my equipment has jumped by 20% when I restocked/replaced/upgraded some of my tools. Please note, this is ahead of the implementation of tarrifs, so I anticipate another jump in costs in the next 30 days. I have always tried to keep my services affordable, and even during the gas price surges after covid, did not raise prices because I know that high prices were taking a toll on all of us. Unfortunately, the time has come that I must increase my prices to keep up with my costs. Starting April 1st, the cost of a float will increase to $100 (not quite a 20% increase) for farms within two hours of my home, and $125 for farms outside that radius.
This was a decision I really struggled with, because I know life in general is costing all of us so much more, and some of us more than others. As before, the price of the float will be a flat rate with no hidden charges. And, as always, I continue to appreciate everyone trusting me to provide care for your horses.
