Balls are for trees! 🎄

1. Neutered cats live longer, healthier lives, and are far less likely to fight other cats. FIV, FeLV, and other diseases are spread by cat bites sustained while fighting.

2. Neutered cats are less likely to spray. Smelly tomcat urine damages property and causes problems with neighbors and landlords.

3. Neutered cats are less likely to be trapped, dumped, or taken to a shelter. Being neutered advertises that someone cares and that they won’t be reproducing.

4. Neutered cats fight less often and less aggressively. This saves money on veterinary bills to treat abscesses and wounds.

5. Neutered cats stay closer to home. They are less likely to get lost, killed by predators, or hit by vehicles while roaming and searching for mates.

🖤Meet Echo! He’s a 4 month old long haired boy who is fully vetted, microchipped, and looking for his forever home. Echo is calm, laid back, and very loveable! He’s good with other cats and small children, but has never met a dog.

❤️Meet Eloise! She is a 1 year old sweet girl who likes to sit on your lap. Eloise is very affectionate, and has super soft fur. She can get a little anxious if she doesn’t know you, but will quickly warm up with a little time and a lot of love! Eloise gets too anxious at adoption events - she does not like being caged up. ❤️She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, as well as combo tested negative. Hi everyone! I wanted to formally introduce my foster babies “The Wicked Litter”! These babies found me when the cat distribution system decided it was my time and they all came running up to me in my front yard back in October! They’re all super social, cuddly sweethearts that I can’t wait to find homes! All pics are labeled with names.

Glinda: the Tri-Colored shy gal! She’s very gentle and still a bit timid but loves head scratches.
Elphaba: our marble girl! Loves to give kisses and laying in laps. Getting better at playing!
Fiyero: a spicy lovey boy! The most sociable out of them all. High-energy, though! Seems to not be scared of my dogs in the short interactions we’ve had through the gate.
Nessarose: A baby faced queen! Very sweet and also loves kisses! Seems to like feather toys.
Pumpkin: A weird one out who may be a half sibling to the others. A gentle soul who really opens up on her own and doesn’t mind being carried. Two colored eyes! Loves feathers and chasing toys!
Sirius: A late comer to the clan who isn’t related but still gets along with everyone super well. Loves the tunnel and a huge climber!

They should be eligible for adoption in the coming month or two as they finish their shots and get fixed!

**Long post for a sweet special needs kitty needing a forever family!**

My name is Sable! I was born on August 12, 2022. I used to have a home, but sadly my person could no longer care for me and had to make the painful decision to surrender me to the shelter. I was so unhappy there - I hate being in a cage and the sounds scared me. Thankfully, Operation Topcat pulled me out and placed me in a loving foster home ❤️.
I’m a very sweet and loving boy! While I don’t enjoy being picked up and held, I do love sitting by you and getting attention! I may even lay in your lap, and if you bend over I may jump on your back and try sitting on your shoulders. I give kitty kisses too! I do give love bites when being pet, so a home with smaller children would not be ideal. I don’t do it to hurt or be mean, but it might startle a small human!
I previously had a urinary blockage, and my previous owner took me to the vet to get a perineal urethrostomy (PU) surgery (a surgical procedure that widens a cat’s urethra to help prevent future blockages). I will need to be kept on my prescription urinary food for the rest of my life (dry and wet food and treats). Please make sure you can afford my special food before adopting me!
I’m very particular about how my food is served! I like a little bit of warm water added to my canned food to make it soupy. If I can see the bottom of my dry food bowl, it’s empty as far as I’m concerned!
Some of my favorite things are:
- cat trees
- a sisal scratching post - nice and tall so I can get a good stretch in as I scratch!
- a self grooming arch
- playing with feather wands
- crinkle balls
- toy mice
- soft balls
All I want for Christmas is to find my forever home - someone to love me and care for me for the rest of my life. I will be very shy at first, but once I settle in and get to know you, I’m a lover!

Meet Mocha! She is around one year old, and a very affectionate girl. She loves pets, gives head bumps, and enjoys a lot of attention. She came from a horrible hoarding situation where she was neglected, but despite her rough start to life she is incredibly loving and affectionate. Sometimes she gets overstimulated with wanting pets, and she will give you a love nibble. But that’s just her way of saying she loves you! She is ready for a home who can give her lots of love forever!!
Mocha is spayed, tested negative for feline disease, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. She’s good with other friendly cats, but has never met a dog. You can apply for Mocha here ❤️👇🏻

Miss Luna is still looking for her FURever home. She is currently at Petsmart on Western Boulevard in Jacksonville, NC for a few more days before returning to her foster home. She is a VERY active girl who loves to run, jump, and play! She loves wand toys and chasing anything that moves. She enjoys wet food and snuggles when after a good play session.
