Pepper girl is still looking for a potential new home. Pepper was out of an oops litter and went home at 10 weeks old to her family, she was returned to me at 10 months old. She I now 15 months old (born August 4, 2024). Pepper is a sweet girl who loves attention and playing with other dogs. I do think she will do best in a home with at least another playful dog (breed doesn’t matter, she loves playing with our Pomeranian and hangs out with the lab mix and Pomsky during the day).
She does have her quirks we hav even trying to work on. She doesn’t like having to share her space with the other dogs when sleeping but now instead of being snappy will just let out a growl and find a new spot. She cuddles fine with her humans. She is dramatic about nail trims, extremely dramatic. It does take two of to cut her nails. The hardest part with Pepper has been her potty training. I think she has begun to get the concept (and will always go outside if you let her out) but does not give any sort of que or warning. We have worked really hard with her on this but because of our schedules and be home so little it’s been a struggle. She would hugely benefit from someone with time and patients to work on this more with her or even someone that has a dog door. She has shown great improvement this last week over night, so maybe things are starting to click. She likes to spend her days outside with the other dogs that prefer the same. But is not a fan of the cold days we have had. She loves wearing her coat and gets excited to put it on.
Pepper does fine with kids that are respectful but prefers not to be around ones that don’t allow her to have space when needed.
If you think you could possibly be a good fit to give Pepper Jack her forever home and patients to continue working with her please feel free to reach out. If you know someone who may be a good fit for Pepper, please feel free to share her info and pictures.
