A sneak peak into our 5-day course, Gentling Wild Horses. This immersive class takes you on a journey from the beginning to end of how to tame a wild horse, the non-violent way.
The lessons learned in this course can be applied not just to wild horses, but starter horses, green horses, and even tune up your horsemanship skills with the most seasoned of horses.
In this clip, @monty_roberts and Miguel, a Monty Roberts Certified Instructor, are teaching students how to allow the wild horses to feel comfortable and safe in the shoot so that they can be properly cared for and eventually handled, without any pain or harm.

Our Story: Monty’s daughter, Debbie, and her husband Tom purchased Flag Is Up Farms from her dad in 2021 with two important goals in mind:
1) Confirm a promise to Monty and Pat that they could live out their lives on the farm they built five decades earlier.
2) Assure that the legacy that Monty, Pat and Debbie had built would be carried forth into generations.
Since then, Debbie and Tom, with the help of a wonderful community, have developed several updates to the farm, including:
✔️a EuroXciser
✔️ @stablecomfort matted walkouts
✔️ 2-acre @bolendermark designed Mountain Trail course with 22 obstacles
✔️ indoor and outdoor arenas and round pens
✔️an AquaTread
✔️ and the newest addition, a Movement Smart Stable, which will be the first of its kind to open in the U.S.
Needless to say, we are passionate and dedicated to fostering horse health and happiness through natural environments and a state of the art facility.
