Barrett just loves playing with a stick!🪵🤣
And because Bubbles had such a big, big day...
It was a big, big day for Bubbles. She got her first away from home free leash adventure! Barrett and Winchester were there to help Bubbles stay with the pack. This exercise provided her with a sense of freedom to explore and have fun beyond a six foot radius. It also allowed us to practice "off leash" recall and build reliability. Bubbles got to run full out with Barrett (Bubbles ran full out while Barrett jogged casually). They explored woods and streams and logged thousands of steps on their Fitbits!
This is very exciting, at least to me! The puppy in this video is Maverick. Maverick is about seven months old and is working on his off-leash Heel and his Place command. While Maverick is in the Place command, the handler moves into another room and closes the door so he is out of sight of the dog. It is really neat that Maverick's handler in the video is Aiden and Aiden is eight years old. Oh, the adventures and memories that lie ahead for this dog and his boy!!❤️🐕🦺
Abbie is a high energy bundle of love! Here, she is working on her place command while her handler is moving out of sight. This is a big challenge for Abbie but she is making steady progress. Good work, Leigh!!
Daily dose of puppy love.
Another perspective. Vecna is coming in hot, even with the drag of two parachutes! The drag created by the parachutes helps develop strength and endurance in the dog. There's nothing like watching a fur missile bearing down on you from thirty yards away with nothing but violence in heart. I LOVE IT!!!❤️ "C'mon, Vecna!! Come get ya some!!!"
Barrett's having fun in the sun today!!❤️🐕🦺🤪
Successful training is, in part, the result of a good relationship with your dog. A good relationship with your dog is the result of positive engagement. Our dog's time with us is incredibly brief. Take the time to engage.
The raw, unedited footage. Mistakes and all. Dog training is progressive improvement. Callie is doing well. She is a dream to work with.
Training should be fun for the dog and the handler. Tucker is really enjoying his learning time, and I think Alivia is too!
Is yor dog muzzle trained? Any dog can bite, given the right circumstance. Fit and desensitize your dog now and avoid the trauma when the time comes.
Sometimes the simplest things...

You're not crying! I'm crying! ❤️ So happy to see this!
Our area may have a big time storm moving in this afternoon so I got Barrett out for a quick walk. We are two days from our eight week post-op visit to the surgeon. 2.12 mile /45 minute walk. He wasn't ready to stop but I was. Can't wait to get his evaluation and x-rays.
Working with your dog is not always about precision, especially with a puppy. The special rapport, trust, and bond that is built will last a lifetime.
