Mundi passed away on October 4th. She'd been declining steadily, the vet told me it was lung cancer, and she'd stopped eating. I took her into the vet's office for euthanasia when the pain got bad. I wasn't very good about getting prednisolone into her, and the liquid stuff was pretty vile. I kept her body in the chest freezer until Sam and I could bury it in my parents' back yard on the 9th, near all the other cats we had when I was a kid, overlooking the Assabet River.
