Do you love animals and want to make a difference? If so, this job may be for you! We are seeking a hardworking, dependable, individual to join our team. For this full-time position you will be working directly with the animals. This will include feeding, medicating, LOTS of cleaning, assisting customers, and providing general animal care & enrichment. Experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate. This FT position is available at our Perkiomenville shelter, and it will include weekend shifts. This is a day shift position (weekdays 8am-5pm & weekends 8am-4pm) that will offer a total of 38-40 hours per week. The starting salary is $15 per hour and the MCSPCA does offer medical insurance, retirement plan, and paid vacation & personal time. My friend Carol runs an amazing non-profit called Garden of Health Food Bank
She posted a request that I wanted to share.

Garden of Health Food Bank is in desperate need of personal hygiene products including: toilet paper, soap, shampoo, feminine hygiene products, razors, deodorant, lotion. Items can be dropped off at 201 Church Rd, North Wales anytime. Our entrance is on the back side of the building and next to it we have a donation bin allowing you to drop off anytime that works for you. Thank you

Everyone ran out for puppies during COVID.
Now those are dogs who are home alone and becoming homeless.
Also let’s not discount the puppy mills who had to keep up with supply. Now there’s surplus.
Puppies are not products. Please choose foster/adoption!

We DESPERATELY need foster homes. We received calls today and Saturday for over THIRTY breeder dogs. This includes bernadoodles, poodles, Goldens, Cavaliers, the list goes on.

We provide all needed food, supplies and vet care. We just need you to provide the love, patience and home to crash.

We are in emergency mode with all of these calls. If you ever debated fostering, now is the time! Please consider joining our amazing family and being the hero of a canine in need ❤️
