The Dog House
In 2004, I went to school to learn to groom dogs. After completing my training, I worked at Pet World in Jacksonville, Florida. While working at Pet World, my husband and I opened a little grooming shop in our garage. Over the course of 12 years, we grew The Dog House into a very busy grooming shop that expanded into part of our house. We built The Dog House by giving the customers the very best service, and of course by loving all the dogs. Another reason for our great success was being willing to take the time necessary to safely and comfortably groom dogs with special needs.
In November 2016, we sold the house and business and hit the road full time in a RV. We workamped our way across the United States grooming dogs all along our way. In February 2019 we bought a home in South Bend, Washington, with the intent of settling down and re-opening The Dog House.
We intend to conduct our business at The Dog House just like we did before. Providing each customer with the very best personalized service while loving each and every dog. Once again The Dog House will grow with word of mouth from our wonderful customers.
