Play time in the snow with the puppies!!!
It might be chilly out today- but our kennels are toasty and our puppies are playful!
Myopia Ruffian, already showing a great voice!
Happy Holidays from our kennel to yours!
Thanksgiving Day Hunt
A long standing and lovely tradition, Thanksgiving Day Hunt with the Myopia Hounds.
We welcomed the rain and rain jackets too, after a long drought our hounds found it refreshing!
We had a lot to be thankful for, our hounds, our staff, landowners, volunteers, patrons, members, riders, and spectators!
One tradition we have is to award colors - to acknowledge subscribers/members who have not only hunted with us for a number of years but who have also participated and volunteered in the hunt community.
Congratulations are in order for all who received their colors and to the juniors who were awarded their patch!
Cheers to another wonderful year!
Hunt 11/16
Enjoy yesterday’s hunt from the perspective of the hunt staff! You’ll hear both the Huntsman and First Whip (Sarah Jacobson) using their voices to direct and encourage the hounds! Thank you Sarah for the video!
A fabulous Saturday!
Thank you to our wonderful landowners for today’s hunt!
Our own Hamilton Police Department’s Officer Neill sings the National Anthem at the 123rd Myopia Horse Show
It was a beautiful morning for hound exercises! There were new riders, new horses, and many familiar faces! Thank you Maggie for the refreshing snacks (for horses and humans!). Hope to see everyone out on Wednesday at 8!
Myopia Hunt
Thank you Susanna Colloredo-Mansfeld and Black Oak Stables for hosting the final day of Spring Roading and a tasty and refreshing Pot Luck Picnic! Thank you to all who contributed.
We are grateful to all the landowners, for with out their generous spirit there would be no hunt!
Stay tuned for our Summer Hound Exercises!
Tally Ho!
A Not-So-Way-Back Wednesday to our first foray into Harold Parker!
Way back Wednesday, not too way back just last week but better late then never! Here is a little video from our first foray at Harold Parker!
Our hounds looked dashing in their Garmin GPS tracker collars! A nice little safety feature for new territory.
It was a lovely morning and we are looking forward to more adventures in Andover!
