Looking to immediately fill a couple of positions for a bather/grooming assistant, part or full time available, experience preferred but we can train for the right candidate.
I would love to find an experienced groomer to add to the team.
These are W-2 positions, depending on the experience level pay is negotiable. For limited or no experience starting pay would be $14/hour with quick growth potential. If you catch on quickly and are motivated this could open the door to the opportunity for a long-term career. I have worked with these pets for nearly 20 years and am looking for passionate and driven individuals to help Fido's continue to grow and service the pets in our area with compassion and professionalism.

Was getting the littles ready for daycare this morning and noticed a blister on Leo's hand and then saw one on Charlie's as well and turns out they both have Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease. It takes 7 to 10 days to run it's course. I am working on finding alternative options for child care, particularly for Charlie as I believe I have Leo covered. In the meantime I did have to close today due to not having last minute childcare and not wanting to expose my clients or affect the other groomers clients/ business. I am working on a game plan for the rest of the week as I truly can not afford to be off work for a week or more so I am hoping to get a gameplan together and get back to it by Thursday but I will keep you all posted with any updates. *upadate* 🎉 We have a winner 🎉 Stefanie Marie Markovich guessed correctly and won a free nail trim service. This pups name is Linda, I think it's an awesome name, I love when animals have "people names." This was fun and I plan to do it again soon , thanks for playing!!

I love this dog and her name is kind of amazing, so much so that if someone can guess it I will give them a free nail trim service (normally $20, includes nails buffed as short as possible, paw pads trimmed and ears cleaned) ALSO I wanted to acknowledge that I still have a decent handful of messages from this week to return and I have not forgotten you! I will be returning them over the weekend. So if you haven't heard from me yet, don't fear, I will be reaching out soon, I am booked a little ways out so you haven't missed anything!
I will give you a hint about her name tomorrow morning if nobody gets it before then. As always thank you all for keeping me in business, I appreciate each and every one of you!

Things have been incredibly hectic the last two weeks with babies getting sick back to back and my teen breaking his wrist and needing a closed reduction under general anesthesia on top of the normal chaos of teens, toddler and baby etc. So I am in the shop today making up for some appointments that had to be moved around and FINALLY getting caught up on appointments and messages, but.... I also figured while I am here I will take walk-in nail trims until I am ready to leave, so if your pooch or kitty needs a quick pawdicure, come on down, I will be here until probably about 6pm today (Saturday September 27th) (enjoy this photo of a cute pup that I groomed recently for attention)

Hard decision to make but we haven't raised prices since we started out here and things are getting tight! I'm also looking to make some imrpovements in the next year with training, staffing, and upgraded business practices which will translate to even better service and hopefully more availability on the schedule. Larger breeds and more technical trims will likely be the most affected by the increase because many times I don't apply the additional fees for sc******ng, extra brushing and the increased work certain pups require because I genuinely enjoy the work and do my best to be as affordable as possible for all my furry clients however I've learned through attending several seminars that if I want to stay in business I need to be charging my worth. Summer is in full swing at Fido's, we have been slammed with calls and messages for appointments, doing my best to get to everyone but we are getting to be booked out and are putting a pause on new clients for the moment. New people who are interested can be added on to a list and as soon as I'm able to accommodate new clients you will be contacted. I will be continuing to return messages as soon as I'm able to and if you know of any experienced pet groomer looking for a job, send them my way!
