Lady is still looking for the right person.
I am unsure what her breed is, she trots, but I have seen her gait as well. She is about 10yrs old and stands about 14.2-14.3hh.
She will take a special person. She is broke to ride but rides pretty green.
Lady came to us with some trauma. She has some large scars on her and will lash out when pushed too far. She is a friendly mare and easy to catch and loves attention, but she does also have some food aggression as well. I do not recommend her for children or inexperienced owners. She has come a very long way and with consistent work with a patient and understanding owner, I believe she will make a really nice horse.
Adoption fee: $300
I have decided to make Lucy available for adoption.
She is broke to ride, and while I have not ridden her myself, I did see her under saddle and she was very well behaved.
Lucy still needs to gain some muscle and weight, but she is well on her way and doing fantastic. Her feet are in much better condition and she has been getting regular trims every 6 weeks to correct them. The farrier believes she should be fine for riding after she is completely rehabbed.
She is a TWH approximately in her mid teens. She is very easy to handle, loves baths and attention. Stands perfect for the farrier, vaccines, haltering etc. Easy to catch, no bite, no kick. Overall, just a super sweet mare.
Adoption fee $600.
Chili is demanding of her booty scratches!
I honestly can’t believe nobody has snagged this mare yet!! Hannah is gorgeous, easy to ride, and has a very sweet, loving disposition!! I’m tempted to hang on to this one if she hangs around much longer!! I absolutely love this girl!
Chili 🌶️ has decided I’m not so bad after all!! And she REALLY enjoys her booty scratches!
Our Paso girl this morning..whether you believe in Reiki or not…THIS is HUGE…this is the first time I’ve been able to put my hands on her.
This mornings wake up call coming to you from the roof of the barn by Mr. Miyagi! 🦃
This is only the second day Maleigha has worked with Bunny. It may not seem like much to most people, but being able to approach this mare and have her stand still, is a HUGE accomplishment! Way to go Maleigha!! You are doing a great job with her!
7am wake up call from our Turkey Mr. Miyagi. He struts around on the roof of the barn every morning 😂
Hannah said it was hot and she would give herself a bath 😂
Matilda sure has been enjoying having visitors that bring treats! She has determined that apples are her favorite and she is so thankful for the snacks!!
Willie ❤️ He finds me wherever I am to get his treats
Clover sure does enjoy her fan in this hot weather!
Last week Saturday we picked up Cricket. Cricket was extremely difficult to catch and did NOT want you to touch his face or halter at all! We tried bribing him with food and treats and going slow, but in the end had to rope him to catch him which I absolutely hate having to do but it was necessary in his case.
A week later, and I can walk up and catch him anywhere and he will follow me wherever I go. He has had minimal handling up to this point but he has turned around sooo quickly!! I was even able to give him his first bath yesterday! We are working on picking up our feet so we can hopefully get his feet trimmed next week when our farrier is out. He still needs to be gelded and we are raising funds to get that done as quickly as possible and after he heals from that he will be adoptable to his forever family!!
Remember the little duck with the head injury and wry neck I was treating? Well look at him now! He still gets a bit wobbly, but he is so happy to be outside with the other birds exploring the yard. When I took this duck on, I honestly wasn’t sure I would be able to help him, but I promised to try as long as he had the will….watching him walk is nothing short of a miracle compared to the condition he was in when I brought him home and he couldn’t even keep his head up! It makes me so happy to see him like this now! I’ve decided to call him Zippy because he sure can boogie across the yard when he wants to!
Look who is swimming on his own! Still a little wobbly when trying to walk…but we are getting there!!
Our little duck is making some progress. He can now stand up with just a little support from the towels and has much better control of his head. He is able to eat and drink on his own and has taken a couple of swims in the duck pool. He definitely has a ways to go but at least we are making some progress!
