Day 3 of upgrades and Tina isn’t minding the new construction. She does not like the taste of aloe though.
Basil, rosemary and arugula planted yesterday and won’t go into her tank until they sprout. She still hasn’t touched her dig box. Pretty soon the whole floor will be just play sand and potting soil.

Then I will get some isopods for the ‘cleanup crew’.

Tina is telling me yet again she needs a new hide 🥴. It’s coming I swear 😩. After searching high and low, I have decided we are going to build her one she can fit in (she has a few in her tank but they are boxes, which she loves but I wanted something more pretty). After much research I’ve decided we aren’t doing all of the floor in tile, I’m going to try and make most of her tank bio. 😬 wish me luck.

Tina took a p**p on her basking spot and then frantically tried escaping it.
Tina had her HOOMAN trained to clean right away.
Tina then proceeds to find her way to hoomans bed to fall asleep on her.

Be like Tina, she’s spoiled.

Tina woke up and chose to steal blankets. 🤣. I hope she’s up for good. She has a vet appointment next month. She lost a little less than 20grams total, but I’m concerned bc she shouldn’t have lost any.

So I ordered some critical care, as she would only take a few bites of greens for my daughter. She hadn’t eaten since Dec 5 and even before that she slowed down. I have to take a p**p sample in (yay fun 🥴)

She did/does need to lose a few grams anyway. Once it gets warmer out we’ll resume walks (she is carried, like a baby, by guess who? My daughter who spoils her rotten. Hopefully down the road she will be comfortable on the ground outside. If not, that’s ok, I’d be overwhelmed with birds and noisy stuff like that too.

Now I can resume upgrading her tank. I have a bunch of ideas and it will probably take a bit to finish.

Fun fact: dragons in captivity can go into brumation from weeks to months. Not every dragon will though.

Fun Fact: Tina’s favorite human is my 13yo daughter. She is super lovey and cuddly but if she spots her human, she’s done with me. Tina will literally run to her bedroom to hang out with her.
