to Brooklyn for passing his CGC🎊👏👏👏🫶🏻💕 this little guy used to bark at every dog and person he saw on walks and was insecure about people being in his home he would rush over to them and bark for moving around. Now he has the confidence to let mom handle things and give him the guidance he needed to be the little gentleman she always knew he could be!

Bruce has he is an official Canine Good Citizen!! This big boys parents turned to for his intense greetings at the door and the excessive pulling. Teaching Bruce how to control his impulses and hold himself accountable was the key to good greetings in their home and out in public.

The exciting things I see throughout my day usually do not include scenes like this. This dog was actually trying to jump out of this second story window. Luckily myself and other concerned people were there to help if needed. The good part of this story is that the dog never made the leap throughout the 45min panic and the owner was called and made it back to the apartment. Safety is the number one reason that dogs like this need training to help their state of mind and develop coping skills. Behaviors like this don’t just go away they need help training their brain how to make better decisions to calm down instead of going into a panic.

Don’t forget to get outside for some fun with your pups! Today is a beautiful day to be out enjoying the cooler wind and the warmth from the sun ☀️

Training is not always perfect recalls amazing heels or ignoring every distraction on outings. Sometimes it’s the messy stuff. Sometimes it’s not a perfect situation and that’s OKAY as long as you have the ability to COMMUNICATE to your dog, those messy moments are learning opportunities to set boundaries and structure for the next time! #alwaystraining #goodgirl #stickwithit

Beau is notorious for rushing forward having no attention on his owners and wanting to immediately rush to any bird or squirrel he sees. We are out walking on Riverwalk and he is just killing it in this heel!! So proud of his owners and this guy for putting in the work to get the respect where it needs to be while out on their walks🫶🏻😁

Let’s talk about appropriate behaviors and advocating for your dog so they don’t feel the need to always handle it on their own! Here you can see JC (the black dog) approaches Indy (the tan dog with a toy), JC is a young puppy learning all about body language and how to engage with other dogs properly. Indy is a little gentleman and letting him approach but I saw JC thinking about intervening and trying to take the toy so I verbally said “ah ah don’t do that” and he understands that means choose something different. As you can see he needed several bits of info. This is as basic as it gets when it comes to advocating for your dog ie, show them you will handle things and they don’t always have to do it themselves!! #gooddog #advocate #dogbodylanguage #boyswillbeboys #decisions

I train you how to train them

My rates are **$60 per hour in home visit For multiple sessions I have package pricing and require payment upfront in order to reserve your training day and time. **Minimum of 4 or more sessions is $55 per hour session.) (Example: $220 for 4 sessions) **Minimum of 8 or more sessions is $50 per hour session. (Example: $400 for 8 sessions) Each training session is about an hour long and we can meet weekly or biweekly (if you choose to do multiple sessions) depending on your availability and what is necessary for progress. After the first session you realize you want to schedule more we can book your training appointments that day! If you feel like you can handle it after the first one I am always available for questions while working on your dog training. I will bring different value treats and different equipment and aides to help with training, however I would suggest you make sure you have a couple different treats your dog likes ready to use.
