Our stallion, Ghostdance Astraya! Foundation bred, 8 panel negative, color tested LPLP EEaa, and is being shown!!

Our 2025 breeding season is officially over on July 1st! I’m proud of Ghostdance Astraya for how well he is showing, training, and that he fully booked his first year of standing at stud! We plan on opening up his 2026 books this November!

We’ll be going to lots more shows this summer & fall!

First ride in about 10 days (because we were on vacation), had a collection this morning, then rode off perfectly with no lunging or anything! This is the kind of mind & temperament you want in a stud!

“Horses are so expensive.”
I agree, they cost me a lot everyday.

Horses cost you your selfishness.
Having horses means everyday you are alive you must consider someone’s needs before your own, multiple times a day. Even when you’re away from them arrangements must be made, this builds character and gives us self worth.

Horses cost you your ego.
Right when you think you have it figured out, you will undoubtedly be presented with a humbling experience either in the arena or out. They will force you to reach out for help when your expertise is maxed out. If you are wise, you will realize life is like this too. Maybe we should reach out for help more frequently and we would get further.

Horses cost you your laziness.
You will never progress with an equine partner by leaving it turned out, just as you will never progress by staying checked out. Do the work and you will get somewhere.

Horses cost you your heart.
They never fail to find a way to touch us deep within even (and especially) when we are feeling cold to the ways of the world. There’s something special about getting to interact with a being that becomes softer when we soften. We should learn to respond to one another similarly.

Yes, horses are so expensive. But everything they’ve ever cost me has also made me 👏🏻

First mare of the year checked in foal today!! 21 days bred! Ghostdance Astraya x Attitude And Money. Foal will be 90% FPD and panel clean by parentage!

Some pictures from some of Jasper’s classes! I think these pictures are from road trot (walk, trot, extended trot) and western pleasure WJ. He earned a first place trophy for WP (it was a large class) and a blue ribbon for road trot (it was a small class)

I realized I haven’t posted any recent pictures of our barn aisle so here it is!

We still have one stall available for either stall board or training board! We also offer consignment sales

In addition, we have several pasture board spots available

Stalls are 12x12 with rubber mats and every stall has its own fan. There are also ceiling fans and other fans throughout the barn for good airflow! We offer LOTS of turnout, minimum of 12 hours a day (unless they need private turnout). Turnout is typically either all day or all night, or we can also do 24/7 turnout and only stall for bad weather. Pasture board horses stay out 24/7, no stall. We have both grass pastures and dry lots available. We provide 24/7 forage (hay or grass)
