My name is Jen Hudson & I am the owner & operator of 12th dog taxi & pet services. My experience with pets include working in veterinarian clinics assisting vet techs, working at several daycare's & boarding facilities, & I ran a Border Collie rescue for 4 years with 10 or more dogs at a time. Having 3 dogs & a cat of my own I realize how hard it is to find the time to get your pets to where they need to go or finding a sitter while you go out of town. Happy 4th of July from our 4 legged family to yours. Please, make sure that all your pets are chipped and have a collar on that has your name, number, and address on it. Entirely way too many pets get lost during this holiday. A lot of them are scared of the noise of the fireworks and run away in fear trying to get away. It's sad to see all of the pets that are missing after the 4th. Please keep them inside if at all possible!! Zih Batman, and Vader all wish you a happy and safe 4th.

🚨 𝐃𝐎𝐆 𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐒 🚨

Our dog kennels are completely FULL and we urgently need to make space for incoming animals. As one of the only open-admission shelters in the state, our doors must remain open for sick pets, injured pets, and victims of abuse or neglect, but we’re stretched to our limit.

With over 120 dogs in our care and only 89 kennels, we are no longer able to provide the standard of care for housing and are urgently seeking your help to reduce our dog population in the shelter.

This has left us desperate to find loving homes and fosters for the animals in our care in order to accommodate those who still need our help.

Here are five ways you can help with this extreme overcrowding:

🐾 𝐀𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭: Starting March 12th through March 17th, we are waiving adoption fees for adult dogs 2 years and older to create space to sustain our lifesaving operations.

We can provide those who find lost pets with supplies such as food, kennels, leashes, and collars.
