Good morning everyone, we are struggling, I hate to admit it but it's the truth. As some if you know, my husband got laid off almost two weeks ago. I'm not even sure how we are going to pay bills this month. We generally just cover everything when he is working. The only things we generally worry about raising donations for is the piggies veggies and vet bills, we cover most everything else. Keeping utilities, trash and the roof over the rescue isn't cheap, but if we can somehow come together as a team to help until we can get back on our feet, I promise to make it worthwhile!

Gardner's Pig Pen-Guinea Pig Rescue is helping us apply for our 501(c)3 on Wednesday which I am so excited about!!!!! This has been a LONG time coming. I'm mentally stronger and ready to take the front seat in the rescue again, I just needed time to heal!!! We need to raise $275 for the 501(c)3. Outside of thst, we desperately need help to cover bills. The piggies use a huge portion of the electric, trash and water bill. They have their own fridge/freezer, swamp cooler, washer/dryer for piggy laundry and we keep inside the home much cooler than we'd ever have it for our indoor piggies. We desperately need pellets and veggies again as well!!!!

PET TREK EXPRESS is a dangerous person! Please avoid this animal transporter at all costs if possible. He assaulted me, and I won't go into detail but he used the death of my dog that happen just that night as an excuse to get closer to me and trap me into a hug I couldn't escape and it got worse from there.

I'm not saying this for sympathy but because I feel like people need to be warned that he comes off as very friendly and sociable and safe - until he's not. PLEASE be safe when dealing with any transporters, but especially this one. I let him into my home which was a massive mistake. If my dad wasn't unknowingly making loud noises further inside the house things would have been much worse!

Capy unfortunately isn't bonding with the herd like I had hoped. She acted like she was and then it went downhill. I'm so disappointed. I really tried to make it work but she did two marks on my oldest pigs back and that's the final straw. ๐Ÿ˜ž
