We breed many snakes but we are mainly known for our success with Ball Pythons. Most of today's keepers have no idea that we used to keep many King snakes and Milk snakes. Ball Pythons are just getting better and better.

Used Boaphile cages we used for green tree pythons. This stack of 4 cages with the roller stand is 82”x 32 1/2 x 17” vents on the side and built in heat on the other side. Couple chips as shown in pictures and the second one down has a scratch on the front plexiglass door. Perches for all of them. Work great for GTP and others. Two stacks available Asking $1200.00 if paid for in advance can deliver to the Anaheim Reptile Super Show in September.

Green tree caging. 4 per stack on base with wheels. I have two stacks available that can be delivered to the Pomona show this weeeknd. Each cage is 35.5 x 17 x 17.5 made by Boaphile each unit has built in side heat. No thermostate. $1600.00 ea.

All the animals in this photo were killed by domestic cats, who are responsible for killing an estimate 2.4 billion birds per year in the USA, and more than 12 billion small mammals.

The native bird population has been declining for decades.

A photo from this series recently First Place in the Human/Nature category of the prestigious BigPicture Natural World Competition.

There are many options to reduce cat predation on native wildlife, including "catios", leash training, limiting time outdoors during peak hunting time, collars that help alert birds to the cat presence (e.g. BirdBeSafe), and making your next cat an indoor cat.

Cats are not "bad", I LOVE cats, but they need better management. Thanks for reading.

*The animals in the photograph were brought to WildCare animal hospital in 2019 after domestic cat attack, and did not survive. The bodies were catalogued and preserved for one calendar year. 232 animals are in the photograph.

Some keen observers of the 'Caught by Cats' photo asked if there were other species that also came in. Indeed, bats, snakes, moles, gophers, rabbit, and more. It just happens that the photo that was recognized in the BigPicture Competition was a tighter crop on the layout of the animals. This first one is an in-camera double exposure. I hesitated to post more on this subject but the winning photo has had 30,000+ views on Facebook - seems to be striking a chord with people. Thank you again to and Melanie Piazza, Director of Animal Care (pictured in some of the images).
