Animal Exhibit's Custom Reptile Terrariums Designing and building quality custom wood and glass terrariums for other reptile and amphibian enth Heat. Why?

It is well known among experienced Herpetological enthusiasts that many reptiles need more heat, strong full spectrum lighting and secure hiding places to be generally healthy and even breed and recover from that expenditure of energy. These custom terrariums support and even promote that in these simple ways:
1. Full spectrum lighting in these terrariums is reflected off the three terrarium walls

increasing availability of UVA/UVB light = more of what it takes for the process of vitamin/mineral absorption required by reptile to thrive.
2. Melamine covered plywood retains heat unlike screen top cages = less wattage required to properly heat animals = less costly electric bills! Also properly thermal regulated reptiles are more active when given this controlled environment, eating more food and entertaining you through healthy interaction.
3. Animals in glass aquariums are usually stressed out more because they feel less secure as they see they are exposed on four sides and the screen top. Most reptiles are on the low end of the food chain so they don't like being exposed on so many sides. My customers ALL have noticed that their animals behave more confidently with three terrarium walls and a solid roof over-head. The animals are noted to eat more, are less skittish, breed readily and be in overall better shape. They are often preyed upon by birds of prey from above-think about that every time you reach in from the TOP of their screen topped cages and how they reacted as babies. Even long term captives behave more relaxed because you approach them from the front of my terrariums.
4. It's MUCH easier to clean the cages from the front by sliding or taking the glass doors off entirely.

pictures naturalistic decor look GREAT! Wood terrariums also look SO much better than and are even more functional and customizable than the plastic cages most enthusiasts know of. Though plastic is lighter and functional..it looks like a science project!
