The weather is becoming increasingly warm, and if your pet requires grooming services, we are pleased to inform you that Heidi, our highly skilled groomer, is available to cater to all your pet's grooming needs. Regardless of whether your pet is a dog or a cat, Heidi possesses the expertise to ensure their comfort and well-being during the grooming process. Additionally, we offer sedation services for pets that experience anxiety or stress during grooming, ensuring a calm and stress-free experience for both the pet and the groomer.

Pigpin is one of our many p-awesome patients!

Her dad says: "I don't know her full history or story, but she came to me as a bonus when I purchased my home a few years ago.

She seemed to just live in the yard, and after a few months of treats and convincing, she decided to trust me and move on to my porch. She lived there for a couple of years and recently we have made the move to inside the house.

She is now living her best life indoors and is the sweetest kitty in the world. Her favorite things in the world are belly rubs and being brushed 😊"

This is Kaylene! She is a dedicated assistant here at Advanced Pet Care. She is a fast learner, great with patients, and always encouraging to her coworkers. She is currently in the Vet Tech program at Penn Foster, and we are so happy to have her on our team.

As it gets warmer (and with all of the moisture we've been having), mosquitos are going to be around! They can carry heartworm disease, and one bite could infect your pet. So keep your kiddo safe this spring and summer, and make sure to talk to your veterinarian about prevention.

Voodoo's Mom says, "He likes to stand on his hind legs and wave his front paws in the air when he's super excited. He will let you know he wants to go for a walk by letting you get close to pick him up and then running to the door and staring at his leash, then he will dance around and try and take the leash off the wall if your not fast enough!" ♥️

Meet Mamba 🐍🐶 Mamba is the cutest 14 month old Pittie/Boxer mix. She has a disease called Cerebellar Hypoplasia. This is when the Cerebellum, the part of the brain that controls intentional coordinated movements, is underdeveloped. This causes her to be very wobbly (ataxic), have tremoring, and lack of coordination. This is not a painful condition, but does require additional management to keep her safe and healthy. Luckily, her ‘mom’ is a certified veterinary rehabilitation physical therapist🤩 Mamba does not seem to know she is ‘different.’ 🩷 Her owner has done a fantastic job managing her with this disease and had her fitted recently for a wheelchair. We had a wonderful first visit for her exam, vaccines, and labwork - she did very well with choosing what ways she was most comfortable. This was one of her many preferences 🤣 She was an absolute joy 🥰🤩
