Duckie muzzle training!
Duckie has been working so hard on his muzzle training! he will now put on the muzzle mostly on cue (if not distracted aka SQUIRREL moments) 🤣 Duckie has much better impulse control around food and overall awareness.
ps. please ignore Mira in the background...she just likes to complain when she has to wait her turn to train...
King is learning about muzzle conditioning and how to have a positive experience with it! Muzzle training is great for all dogs as it can come in handy for multiple uses not only aggression! examples would be in case of emergencies, going to the vet, stressful situations, not eating something they shouldnt (such as dogs with pica), and so much more!
King has just started this process and while it can take some time it is well worth it to have him have a positive association with a muzzle ! stay tuned for more progress videos!
Some beautiful weather means dog socials with the pack! Residents: Aleu (husky), Mira (collie), and Houdini (bully breed mix) playing with Richard (board and train jumpstart program) and pretty girls Mocha and Latte (goldendoodles in for traditional boarding) they all are learning how to communicate properly with each other and learning different play styles!
During this we also added in some recall for each f the dogs so they know playing with friends can be a reward when you come back!
Dont forget to schedule your boarding or board and train program! We book FAST! TWO spots left in November currently for board and trains and a few spots for traditional boarding! October is completely full!
