Like many, our team members are looking for a way to help serve the community, and our neighbors in Asheville and the surrounding areas. Both Pet’s Favorite Vet in Boiling Springs and Pet’s Favorite Play Place in Spartanburg will be accepting donations for transportation to Hendersonville, Asheville, and surrounding areas. Our collection will start today Oct 7th, and continue as long as needed. Please share with your family and friends so we can help as many of our neighbors in need as possible.

The greatest needs at this time are NEW underwear and socks in original packaging (any size). NEW or VERY gently used blankets - especially King and Queen sizes - sheets, and towels. NEW or VERY gently used fall/winter clothing. Non perishable food items such as boxes of cereal, canned proteins such as chicken, tuna, ham, turkey, etc., and oatmeal. Dry or canned dog and cat food, bleach and cleaning products. Generators (2000w-2500w), Garmin inReach Satellite Messengers, Starlinks, chainsaws, hazmat suits, work gloves, 5 gallon buckets, flashlights, batteries, camping stoves, diapers & wipes, charcoal, and propane gas tanks.

They also need bottled water, baby formula, hand sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, first aid supplies, feminine hygiene and personal hygiene products such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc., collapsible dog crates, contractor trash bags, tarps, blankets, towels, shovels, brooms, coolers, masks, gas cook stoves, candles, matches, and lighters.

Comfort items such as books, dog toys, small games, stuffed bears, coloring books, and puzzles are also appreciated.

We are unable to accept donations of perishable foods, or human or animal prescription medications of any kind at our facilities.

Our power is back, and so is group playtime! Many of our staff members are still without power at home, so we will continue our temporary hours of 8am - 7pm Thursday the 3rd and Friday the 4th. Our normal hours will resume on Saturday. We can't wait to see y'all tomorrow!!

You want to see a real hero? Here she is! Dr. Caroline taking over the social media to get you all to pour out your love for Marissa! I was out of the town when the storm hit and for a couple days, Marissa was the ONLY one able to get to the Play Place. This rockstar of a human being took care of all of the critters in our care, provided respite care for people who needed somewhere for their pets in a pinch AND kept this business owner from panicking. LET'S HEAR IT FOR MARISSA!!!!!!!!!

Hello Friends! Like many in our area, both the Boiling Springs and Spartanburg locations are without power. Until power is restored and we are able to resume our regular services, we will be making the following changes:

Pet's Favorite Vet in Boiling Springs is closed indefinitely. However, as soon as power is restored, the team will work on getting up and running ASAP!

Pet's Favorite Play Place in Spartanburg will be open daily 8am-7pm for boarding and urgently needed daycare only. Group play is suspended until regular services can be resumed. All pets in our facility are doing well, and we will be in touch with owners with updates as often as possible!

In the meantime, if you need to reach us with a non urgent question, please text 864-686-8583. We have spotty cell service but will be back in touch as soon as possible!

If your pet requires immediate medical attention, Veterinary Emergency Group in Greenville is open for emergency cases and can be reached at 864-252-9520.

Good morning friends! We are, like many, still without power. All pets in our care are safe and comfortable. We will continue to accept boarding and daycare as needed on an emergency basis, but we will not be doing regular group play until power is restored. We will keep you all updated! Stay safe 💕

Good morning!! We have staff on site to care for all of our boarding kiddos, and we are open! However, we strongly encourage daycare reservations to plan on dropping off later today, and if cancellations are needed due to weather please let us know!

Miss Ruby is ready for the coming weather, and so are we!! We will be OPEN tomorrow, rain or shine, to care for our boarding kids and take in any daycare dropoffs!
