Karen McFatButt & Hercules puppy update! The first few days home were touch and go... We had a few pups shed excessive water weight that appeared as if they weren't quite finished cooking yet ultimately fail to thrive. We unfortunately ended up losing two despite our very best efforts to save them. Seven of the nine have now managed to show (and most importantly maintain) weight gains so we are hopeful everyone is now out of the woods.🤞🏻 Fingers crossed! She's had a couple visitations but so far nobody has pulled the trigger and said they'll be her new family! Could it be you? Ronald is still searching for a forever home! Ronald is a special needs pup with Spina bifida; he has mobility, and incontinence issues. He gets around remarkably well given his condition (video in original post comments), but he still requires diapers since his soda & soft-serve machines are always on the fritz. The name Ronald is starting to make more sense now isn't it... 😅

Ronald is searching for a family willing to overlook his hardships, and love him for the carefree little couch hippo he truly is! He's always happy- not a sour bone in this boy's body! You'd never know this boy struggles dailly just to be by your side! He wants nothing more than a family who will love him back just as unconditionally! Ronald is FREE to the right home. We will require prospective homes go through our application process and we will confirm details like income to ensure he goes to a family financially equipped to provide him with whatever care he may need in the future. He is not going just anywhere and we are certainly not interested in seeing him passed from home to home if folks find his issues to be too much work for them. We are seeking his final and forever destination only! We can easily see him improving his mobility with some strength training, and other possible therapies. He can walk significant distances, but chooses to drag himself (video in comments of original post) on most smooth or soft surfaces instead. He walks well in a sling, and seems to favor one hind leg over the other. As we mentioned he is incontinent, and has zero control over his bowel/bladder so wet wipes and diaper changes will be part of his daily life.... and he'll do everything he possibly can to make up for your trouble! He'll be a true companion for life! He promises! Those willing to care for his needs will be rewarded for as long as he lives 🥰

🚨UPDATE🚨 Lady Karen McFatButt went in for reverse progesterone testing this morning to help correctly time her c-section and the results say shes ready! She weighed in at 68lbs a month ago during her ultrasound and today she tipped the scales at over 85lbs!!!! Who wants to take a guess at how many pups arrive today? Comment below! 🚨UPDATE🚨 Shiva & Duke blessed us with four beautiful baby BatPig pups this morning! Three boys and one girl! Moms doing fantastic after her surgery and quite literally walked out of the vets office on her own as if nothing had even happened! She's now nursing her pups for the first time and will get an opportunity to rest a bit while her pups do the same in our incubator between supervised feedings. We'll have a camera set up for this litter's live feed within the next 24-48hrs once everyone has settled in. Stay tuned, more updates are on the way! Shiva went in for reverse progesterone testing this morning to help correctly time her upcoming c-section! She was at a 6 today so she'll return again for another test tomorrow morning. We'll repeat this same pairing later in the year when she's ready... and regardless if we are successful or not she will then join her mother (Churro) and son (Ace) in the retirement home that we've already lined up for her! 🚨WANTED🚨 Ronald, our EB boy with spinabifida, is in need of a wheelchair! Chairs for pups his size are rather expensive and before we buy new we thought we'd check to see if anyone out there has a chair they no longer need and would be willing to part with for a reasonable price! Things are rather tight at the moment with our next generation holdbacks eating us out of house and home and it just kills us to see him want to play with his mom and siblings but he just can't keep up. He does pretty well considering his condition but a chair would help him get around so much easier. If you or someone you know has a line on a used chair suitable for a dog over 40lbs please shoot us a message! 🥰🐾 EDIT: We've had tons of you reach out since this morning suggesting we start a GoFundMe page or at least consider accepting small donations... While we appreciate so many of you looking to help we're hoping to avoid crowdfunding his care if at all possoble. That said, every little bit does help until we're able to locate a proper home willing to provide the care he requires. Until then he'll remain right here and those willing to offer small gestures of aide can do so by contributing "consumable" items such as blankets, puppy pads and unscented baby wipes.
