Miss Kira Thunderpaws April 9, 2012-February 24, 2024
The best dog in the world crossed The Rainbow Bridge today. I'm sure Kira was met by Clyde and Frannie, and is pain-free, happy, and chasing ocean waves. I knew letting her go would be one of the hardest things I've ever done--and it was. But Tranquil Passing made it so much easier here at home. What a beautiful, peaceful, and dignified flight they gave her. We love you so much, Kira. We'll meet you at the bridge someday. ❤️

Mom says: Video update on 11-year-old Newfoundland Kira (Newfoundland's average lifespan is 8 to 10 years) and 4-month-old Kirby. Kirby absolutely loves Kira and is really so good for her! Some of the time I'm sure she is rolling her eyes because he won't leave her alone a lot of the time. But he gets her up on her feet versus laying around all day long without moving. 👍😊❤️ PS: Kirby has fallen in that pond three times in the two and a half weeks we have had him! LOL but he hasn't done it the past week! 🙏
