🥀Parakeet Skeleton🥀 Up on our website now! This precious little flying budgie has been processed, traditionally articulated, wired and glued in our studio from start to finish ✨ This particular parakeet has a naturally crooked beak which is shown in the way their mandible has formed. Please note, this Parakeet passed away from natural causes in a wildlife reserve before being sent to us. The articulation is designed to be completely removable and is mounted into the base with handmade brass hardware. We just finished up this gorgeous Bobcat for a client and cannot wait for them to arrive at their new home! Of course we had to take them out for a nice day in the sun and as you can see they really enjoyed rolling around in the tall gross and soaking up the rays! 🐇🔮Diaphonized Baby Rabbits with Ears🔮🐇 Two adorable Diaphonized bunnies with ears are up on our website and searching for new homes! Each baby rabbit has been professionally processed and Diaphonized in our studio from start to finish! While processing we decided to keep their tiny ears attached and we just can’t get over how cute they look! One rabbit is in a 10 dram jar and the other is in a small glass crystal ball with a selenite base✨be sure to visit their individual website listings for detailed photos and information! We will be releasing a few larger rabbit diaphonizations in the coming days so keep those eyes peeled 👀 each bunny has been preserved in formalin and then they have gone through a chemical process referred to as “Diaphonization” which is a method in which the bone and cartilage are stained and the flesh is cleared in order to vividly display the skeletal structure! Parakeet Study Skin - a peaceful preservation of this stunning Budgerigar. Processed and professionally dry preserved in our studio from start to finish, this Parakeet has found a home, however we would love to work on more study skins in the future! Study skins are a traditional museum preparation where the entire bird is dry preserved excluding their internal organs, the resulting preservation appears to be a bird lying on their back with wings folded. While this preservation has been used historically as a practical way to safely view and store preservations for study, they have always seemed magical, suspended in time, and whenever seeing them in museums they sparked a sense of wonder within. Please note, this Budgerigar passed away from natural causes at a Wildlife Reserve prior to being sent to us. We do not harm animals for our work. 🖤🐱Pre-mature Kitten Memorial🐱🖤 With permission of our lovely client and friend we are sharing a photo of a custom commission we are currently working on! This absolutely precious little pre-mature kitten passed away shortly after being born of natural causes and has been entrusted to us to be memorialized forever, to be loved and cherished for many years to come. This specific kitten has been professionally wet preserved in our studio from start to finish and we have also been entrusted to Diaphonized their nearly identical sibling!
