Lyla is an excellent representation of the breed; stunning, confident, loving, smart, gentle girl! She comes from generations of excellent health testing, generations of imported lines, and 52 champions in her 5 generation pedigree!
Lyla is genetically clear through wisdom panel!
She has her CGC title and is currently being trained to be a certified therapy dog!

Lyla has passed all OFA health clearances : hips, Elbows, Eyes, & Heart, Her DNA panel is clear as well! You can find all this information in Lyla’s album.

My plan is to breed Lyla her next heat cycle which I’m thinking should be later this fall/winter with early spring puppies.

Lyla girl turned 3 yesterday! She was very much spoiled by her guardian home momma.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Skye got spayed on December 20th and is healing up great! She is still looking for her perfect home. Once she’s fully healed up she will be ready to go to the best fit home. I’ll be picky about her new home. I want it to be the best fit possible for both her and her new owner. The only reason I decided to end skye from my program and get her spayed is because she did not like the mom life. she is a great dog and produces amazing puppies but I had to put her first and I’m not gonna force her to be a mom if she doesn’t want to. But as a breeder I also can’t keep every dog otherwise I’d have 100 lol so finding her a new home is the best choice.

Skye is 3, She is a friendly confident girl. She’s good with little kids who respect her boundaries and good with other dogs but would do best in a home as the only dog or second dog she does best in smaller packs. she’s does ok with cats but doesn’t like them in her space. She loves water and just being with her people. She loves to snuggle on the couch, she is medium to high drive but has a great off switch and is calm in the house. Very food motivated. She has been introduced to some sports such as barn hunt, dock diving, and herding. She is well behaved, knows basic commands such as sit, down, stay, recalls great, kennel trained, potty trained, walks good on a leash.

She is a border collie, so please know the breed before showing interest.

Now that jett finished his puppy immunizations. We will be doing more training session outside the house.
Today we trained and socialized at tractor supply!
During our outings I worked on basic obedience sit, down, stay, come, heel.
I teach jett to stay focused on me and ignore other dogs and people, to achieve this I do not allow people to pet him or other dogs to approach him.

jet was so good today he was so good about staying focus on me. He didn’t even care about the other people or other dog that we saw. So proud of him!

Attention friends, as an in home breeder we have to make some tough decisions for the future of our program and to ensure the happiness of our dogs. Sometimes our dogs will retire or don’t work out for our program and need to find a home that is perfect for their personality. Although this is hard for us, our dogs happiness is our #1 priority!

As some of you know Skye was not a fan of the mom life, the cleaning them and nursing them part she did not like so it was a very stressful time for both her and I those first 3 weeks so with that I’ve decided to end her from my program.

So we are looking for an amazing home this special girl! This is a rare situation where you get the opportunity to own an amazing young adult dog that is already trained! Then there was ONE!

Fred will be staying with us here at legacy k9 (since I’ll be getting Skye spayed because she did not like the mom life! )
Fred will be part of my breeding program once he passes all health tests and if I like how he turns out!
What first drew me to him was his friendly, confident, bold personality he also was the only puppy from the litter who always had his eyes on me and had to always be by me or snuggling in my lap or if he was off playing with the others would come over to me to check in then back to play with his siblings he’d go, I wasn’t planning on keeping him but when a puppy chooses you! You keep him! Lol 💕🥰🫶🏼🐶
