It's with a heavy heart we share that Surge crashed this afternoon and they were unable to resuscitate him, so sadly we had to let him go. His blood sugar couldn't be stabilized, they believe he had a severe infection with his high WBC, possible sepsis and his weak, malnourished body could no longer fight. We tried so hard to save you baby Surge and your foster mommy, Beth Taylor, loved and cared for you so much. She took this video today while visiting him before he crashed. You will be forever woven in her heart. Please send hugs and prayers to Beth everyone. This was a very hard loss. 😪
We also have collected $770 (updating as donations come in) towards a $3,000 plus bill. We'll update with the exact total as soon as we receive the balance after we paid $900 towards it today. Polly is truly the whole package. She is the biggest lovebug and a perfect companion. She is 6-8 years old and needs a place to land. Polly is another abandoned pet rescued off the streets of Philly. Just an update on our tiny family 😍
Reign is consistently eating a 1/3 to half a can of food with a little bit of dry- 3x a day. I heat it up for 20 seconds and break up the large pieces. Jalen is adventurous and moves around a lot. Kelce is HUGE lol. She is very content staying right next to momma. Fletcher is more active as well with Jalen, it's pretty funny because they can't see. They climb around momma's back. BG is chill, sleeps consistently but moves a lot when momma moves him or I pick him up to weigh him. He whines a lot when momma gets up to use the wee wee pads.

Hi there! My name is Disco, but my foster family calls me Maisy. I’m a Chihuahua - Dachshund mix and I weigh around 8 pounds. I came from a hoarder situation so I’m still learning how to be a dog. I’d love to be in a quiet home with one or two people and I would prefer no young kids. I get super scared and run away, but I don’t bite. I am scared to walk on a leash but I love running around my foster family’s fenced in yard! Sometimes I get even get the zoomies. I am doing great with going potty outside as well. I love romping around with my foster sister and I’ve even started playing with toys a little! I would love to sit on your lap all day!! I need some time and patience adjusting to a new home since I’m still learning how to love and trust people. I love to cuddle and hope you’ll give me a chance to be welcomed into your home!
