Just got off the phone with Ms. k in the Florida department of revenue. Apparently after I corrected an admin in the group Groomers Misclassified / 1099 fb group, I got flagged. Her statement was "any groomer working in a salon as a 1099 is illegal". This was a statement made by the admin of this group. I stated this is incorrect that 1099s are legal but with strict guidelines. Me. K is going to try to get something done about this FB group. I am also going to report the group and try to get it taken down. This false propaganda is hurting our industry so bad....
