My son and granddaughter were in an accident today. There are all right, Shake up and sore. Mri's are clear. Their only car totaled but praise God's grace!
Look at this picture of the red truck that hit them.Tell me an angel didn't stand between those cars. By the hand of god everyone was ok. Older gentlemen never stop for the stop sign. He is okay too.

Welcome home oreo!
I adopted oreo yesterday, the daughter of a pure blood cattledog and a passing white salesman.
She loves water , balls and running.
She's fit right in with the other 2 cow dogs. The pit is still out on her opinion.

Things come in 3's, correct? And then they're done.....
1. Fell asleep driving into Meadville this afternoon, driving....

2. Hit a pothole in the parking lot and flipped the Cart over with 200 pounds of feed and a plant in it. Luckily I was able to get out from under it, as it went over and had the sense enough to let go.

3. Coming home from Meadville at 1030 at night. And had a guy tailgating me, didn't think I was going fast enough.
Thank God my eyes never left the road because out of the dim appeared a deer just standing right in my Lane.

The universe is trying to kill me and the good lords trying to protect me.
Thank you, Lord, you won tonight.

Extremely long day in the ER
By God's grace it wasn't as bad as it could have been. suspected blood clot turned out to be a pulled hamstring. No fractures!

No more sunny days. And with Ohio Nationals coming up, the sorting has begun. The pullets come inside. It's even harder to pick through them. A sea of black and a few blue. 1 lonely cuckoo 😆. The girls were crowding the fence to see the boys in the other pen.

We, D&L ranch poultry and Twin maple ranch, are going to Ohio Nationals. Nationals this year is a three day show. November 9th through the 12th.
We will be setting up on thursday.
It's going to be a mad house. So if you want something particular please contact us for pre-order.
Pre-order, stay on the trailer, and don't come into the sale area.

Dayton was a great show! Got to see old friends, make new ones and show off our lovely silkies.
I took four silkies. I was not expecting them to do much. First time out for a young black pullet and project cuckoo cockerel/pullets.To my surprise we received Best NSV and Res NSV with the cuckoos! Really enjoyed watching the judging, as Mike Wasykowski did a thro job going over the birds . I am grateful for the time he gave to the cuckoos in judging them, IMO showed respect of the work in them so far. Card note was "skin color ".
