I want to thank you all for everything you've done for my mom and even me over the years, even long before she was sick. She didn't really like to use "clients," as she considered many of you to be friends, and some even family. Thank you all so much, for loving my mom and being so incredibly patient when things got tough. She fought hard and worked with you as long as she could and it broke her heart to be away from all the doggies💔😭 She is sooo missed. Life won't be the same without her, that's for sure.

Hi to all my friends & family!

First of all, I want to thank y'all for all the prayers, offering so much help, all the care packages, chemo kits and checking in on me. Nice to know y'all are such good friends and I haven't been forgotten. That really means soooo much too me!!

I know it's been awhile since I've updated y'all on my health issues.
I apologize!
Chemo is way rougher on my body than I was anticipating!

On a more positive note:
I do have a lil good news on all the brain tumors I had. This last MRI of brain has shown that most tumors are gone and the few that are still there, have shrunk down to almost nothing!!
No more swiss cheese brain!! 🥴
I've included images from Nov '22 & Feb '23 MRI's so you can see the difference. 😃
Drs. Advises that I have MRI's every 4mos, to make sure nothing is growing back. If future radiation is needed, they won't do full brain radiation again! Could damage what few brain cells I've got left from first 10 trmts!
If needed, they'll do radiation they call "Gamma Knife" which is a radiation precisely targeted to just the tumors and not healthy brain cells/tissue.

Also had a new CT scan for my lungs, stomach, liver & pelvic area on Feb 28th. I'm waiting to see my Dr on Mar 15th, to get the results. I'm nervous about the results on lungs. Left lung mass was so huge and blocking airway in Nov scan.
I have noticed a lil better breathing and being able to walk a lil farther than before, but I still get winded easily when I try to do too much, which is so annoying cuz I'm wanting to get back to work so badly! Not getting to see y'all and visit with all my furry friends is just completely depressing!
Not to mention, my lil Yazhi & Yona girls have not been groomed since last Oct!! They are a total hot mess!!
It's embarrassing!! Here I am, a groomer with all the necessary tools and I can't get up the energy! 🤦🏼‍♀️
I do trim nails & keep the di**le berries off their b***y! 🤭😜
I'm blaming cold dreary weather!

Well, that's about all I got for now. I'll update y'all on CT scan results when I find out.

I wanna update everyone on my small cell carcinoma lung cancer that has Metastasised to my brain, liver and recently noticed lumps under skin area. 🤦🏼‍♀️
So far, I've finished 10 radiation trmts to my brain. Unfortunately, the side effects have really messed up how my brain is reacting. I'm hoping & praying that I'm not going to be one who has permanent damage & how it functions.
My chemo starts on Nov 29th.
That's gonna be another rough process to get thru.

I know I was being optimistic about doing a small dog here and there thru Trmnt, but that may not be possible. 😢
With that being said, my grooming business is gonna be closed indefinitely until I know more about my future. 💔
I truly hope y'all are able to find a groomer that puts in the extra time & TLC that many of my furry friends need. I hope y'all can find a groomer who is meticulous about how good the finished dog looks and takes much pride in their work.

If & when I know that I'll be able to reopen and return to work, I will def be back to post a return to work date.
I wish I had better news at this point, but let's pray that in the near future I'll have better news.

I also wanna thank everyone that has brought supplies, meals, groceries and other stuff that has made my daily life a lil easier.
I appreciate everything that y'all have done.
I love all of you and love your furry family members even more!!

Ok guys. I know y'all have been worrying about my quickly deteriorating health over past few yrs.
Losing voice & lung issues that started in 2019 was the beginning of my deteriorating health.
Past 4-5mo symptoms became extreme!
Finally headed to ER this week, Thanks to Sunnie & Gio. They've stayed with me everyday.

*Most recent symptoms over Past 4-5 months:
*Voice is gone again. (Since Aug'22)
*Trouble Swallowing
*Throat Closes randomly when Inhaling. (15+ x's a Day)
*Excessive Weight Loss
(Down to 92lbs)
*Coughing & coughing up phlegm.
*Throwing up 4-5 X's a day.
*Losing strength and having no energy.
(Not able to get thru a full work day or basic chores around house)
*Equilibrium is outta wack 24/7
*Walking is off balance.
*Tenitus 24/7

When i let the staff caring for me at ER read all the crazy symptoms that have been building up in my body the last 5-6mo.
They decided to test a ton of upper body scans, X-ray, MRI, blood work and anything else they could think of.

I think we all knew the outcome was not gonna be good, but I never imagined it was gonna be this bad or severe!!

After being transfered to Ketterings Main Campus. They did way more extensive testings.
They did a biopsy of my lungs.
Both lungs have nodules and one lung has very large mass & both airways are partially clogged.
Yes, I also have small cell carcinoma lung cancer 😥
They predict that cancer started in lungs and spread quickly thru rest of organs over the past couple years.

This is just the beginning of the negative news.

They also did MRI of brain which showed a very abnormal looking brain. My brain looks like swiss cheese. MRI of brain gave more clear image of very aggressive small cell carcinoma cancer thru out the brain. They started radiation treatment of brain as soon as I arrived. They've already told me radiation treatment to the head is def gonna cause me to lose my hair in the next 2-3wks 😭

My liver also shows abnormality. They didn't do biopsy on liver though.
They are def predicting my liver is cancer filled also.

With all this negative news, I'm not sure if or when I'll be able to return to work. I do know that a huge chunk of my large dog clientele will have to wait until hopefully I gather more strength.
I'm hoping after the daily radiation trmts, I'll be able to return part-time with at least some small dogs.

As soon as I find out info for the future of my business, I'll def let everyone know.

I apologize for not posting sooner but trmts to the brain are no joke!! Zaps me of all my energy, causing crazy nausea & dizziness. Not to mention my thought process seems outta wack 🤷🏼‍♀️
