We see your tags, the cries for help in all the emergencies – and we are so sorry we can’t do more right now. 💔

Every emergency is expensive and when we take in several cases a day, it becomes financially impossible. Yes, we have our own clinic, but that doesn’t mean we have a vet on call 24/7 or access to the same diagnostics as private practice vets and we can only physically take care of so many. We currently have 38 hospitalized animals under our care.

We’re running on empty in so many ways. Funds for emergencies are depleted, and getting our new clinic ready has come with many unexpected expenses. We are out of so many supplies and animals are coming in faster than we can handle. 🐾

We know we ask a lot from you – but the community asks a lot of us too. And we’re stretched too thin. We always say this, but it’s so true: If every one of our followers donated anything, we could air up the tires on our struggle bus and keep moving forward! 🚍💨

A few tips for your pets this 4th of July

🎆 Don't assume that just because your pets aren't scared of thunder or other loud noises, they won't be bothered by fireworks
🎆 Don't take your pets to firework displays/shows
🎆Do give your pet a quiet, comfortable area to escape to. Even if it's in the bathtub or under a bed.
🎆Make sure your pets are wearing identification tags.
