Hold up: do mew see stripes?! 🐅🐈‍⬛

At first glance, Vesper & Flare appear to be black (with the exception of Flare's little white patches on his neck and tummy). But as they've grown, and spent more time frolicking in the sun, it's looking like we have a couple of ghost tabbies on our hands! They are both sporting a grey undercoat, and have pretty defined stripes on their back legs. In the right lighting you can see swirls all throughout their beautiful black coats. What handsome little dudes!! 👻🐯

Another successful pairing in the books. Paige was looking for the perfect cat when she spotted a picture of Harriett. Right away she knew her search was over. Paige adopted Harriett on Friday and we could not be happier for them. Thank you Carola for fostering Harriett and getting her ready for her new forever home. And thank you Paige for making her part of your family, I know that the two of you are going to be happy together.

New floor, who dis?

Y'all might remember when our kitties came down with a tummy bug last month. 💩 Well, what you didn't know is that very same week, a water leak 💦 in the kitchen destroyed our floor - and damaged the basement below. Imagine the fun cleaning poopy butts while the WATER IS SHUT OFF 💀

Well it's been over a month, and repairs are still ongoing, but today we (and the kitties) stepped foot on our brand new floors for the first time. Java promptly flopped, rolled around, made biscuits, took a bath, and sang a vewy happy, chirpy song. Listen in the comments - do mew think she approves? 😻🎶

Happy Father's Day to dads of all kinds! Special shout-out to Dad of NinjaCat 😻 Pictured here on his lap is Westley, dad's first "furry son." The two were absolutely inseparable: Westley would greet daddy at the door after work every day, wagging his tail. He also loved to share bites of daddy's sorbet, and steal his toothpick right out of his mouth. One time, he even tried to jump through a glass door to get to daddy on the other side 🥺

Second 📷 is dad with our first fosters! He gave them all so much love and a great start in life. He might've shed a tear or two when it came time for them to go to their furever homes 🥲

Last night our AC went out. We called our HVAC company's emergency line and got James.

In other mews, our babies are F I N A L L Y better from their miserable 10-day tummy bug. It was a rough week and a half, but they are healthy and very happy to be done with quarantine, medicine, b***y baths and trips to the vet. ☣️💩💉

NinjaCat is thrilled to aMEOWnce that we have officially funded the 4️⃣th spay surgery for our community rescue partners!! Happy Mothers' Spay to Community Cat Advocacy Team Springfield and all our local rescues 😻

Thank mew so much to everyone who made this campaign PAWssible. We are so grateful, and we know the momma cats will be as well! Just today we learned that Willow, the feral momma we helped by fostering the coconut kittens, making room for her to give birth inside, has been returned to her outdoor home following her spay surgery. She is so happy, basking in the sun, with not a care in the world. This is why we 💗 TNR! Fewer kittens born outside means happier, healthier cats, less-stressed shelters, and even more balanced ecosystems. It's a win win for everyone.
